DO NOT USE! She will forget you are her client for over 6…read moremonths. Once you reach out to her she will say there was a glitch in the system and that's why 1 of the 2 petitions she was supposed to file was never filed over 6 month prior. When you fire her as your lawyer because she has failed you as a client she will charge you an outrageous amount!!! I'm talking about $2300. She will charge you $2300 to file 2 petitions, forget about you for over 6 months, NEVER EVEN SERVE THE PERSON, and then when you call for an update she will back track and find a way to make more money off of you because she never did her job to begin with. I've attached the process she said would happen that she charged me $4500 for. We never made it past step one...after waiting over 180 days and finding out she hadn't done anything further we fired her. She felt justified in keeping over half of our money. Literally the worst lawyer you could hire and a crook. We hired a second attorney and got our case handled! Don't waste your time here unless you want to be stolen from and nothing done!!!

When I had questions or needed guidance, I received direct and well-reasoned responses--not vague answers or runarounds. From the beginning, expectations were clearly set. I had full access to my file and could see pleadings and documents as they were added, so I never felt in the dark. Before court, I received a detailed letter explaining what to expect and how to prepare, which made the process far less stressful. As for communication, I followed the firm's instructions. When I wanted to speak with my attorney, I scheduled a call using the provided system--and I received the call exactly when scheduled. That process worked as explained. Pricing was also clearly laid out in the client fee agreement. The reality is that legal advice takes time, and time is what you're paying for. Emails and phone calls are not casual conversations--they involve legal analysis and responsibility. I understood that when I signed up. Based on my experience, complaints about "lack of communication" often seem to come from people who did not follow the firm's clearly stated procedures or who expected free, unlimited access to an attorney. That simply isn't how legal representation works. Overall, this firm is thorough, prepared, transparent, and professional. If you read the agreement, follow the process, and understand that legal services are paid services, you'll be well served here.

Testimonial as follows:…read more You don't know me, but I would like to share my experience. I have spent the better part of the last decade fighting hard to remain in my only Daughter's life. Following my divorce in 2010, which of course felt very one sided, unfortunately my greatest mistake was not having legal representation. Recently, just in the past few years, my Daughter has identified a number of discrepancies with respect to my character that do not match what she has been told. While visiting with my side of the family, my Daughter has seen with her own eyes how I act under pressure, behave when stressed, and my attitude when angry at the situation, when my family and I are all together. My daughter saw that I was not the villain or dangerous individual that I was believed to be. Just recently my daughter chose to move into our residence. My new Wife and I of course had already discussed this possibility and had prepared in advance. The Law Office of Mark Childress and his team were able to get my wage withholdings for support stopped, the custody transferred to me, and set a small child support for me until my daughter graduates high school in just a few short months. I know if I had attempted to secure all these items without legal representation, I could still be waiting another year or more for finalization. The Law Office of Mark Childress worked as a team to provide me with the assistance I needed to complete all the legal paperwork that I personally would have been lost for months attempting on my own. I only wish I had contacted my friends at the Law office of Mark Childress back in 2010. Sincerely, Jomie Tebbetts
