The only bad thing i would say is that the size is a bit small for the business on occasions when i drive by i do see a couple of people standing outside waiting to be served but if they dont want to expand then thats ok. Its a great business so they can have it the way they like it! I would totally recommend using this butcher if your in the area

They are incredibly friendly and their display case is to die for! Everything looks fresh and good! They have ready to cook meals and an assortment of pies and rolls. Last time I was there the owner told me that his grandparents started the business 14 miles away from me, in Faneuil Hall in Boston, originally and then returned to Scotland.

It appears that McLeishes has closed down- whether this is temporary or not im not sure…read more If it reopens, however, McLeishes is a great deli with a fresh fish counter on the one side (try the Arborath smokies and smokie pate); and meats, cooked products, sandwiches and hot foods on the other. Its always been very buzzing when I've shopped there so i would be surprised if its closing down permanently- would be a shame to lose something liek this from the high street
