Now, when we first got the price to respray our rusty campervan, we had to sit down and hyperventilate a little, especially when we were warned that it wouldn't likely extend the lifespan of said vehicle particularly much. But, we were sold on the detail that Alec explained that Scotspray would go into - spraying roof, interior, adding stonechip to the base. Getting quotes from others didn't compare in terms of the work that was offered, so we settled, with our inner spendthrift having a heart attack, on Scotspray and prayed that it would be the right choice.
And it so very much was. Outside of our house sits a Ford Transit that looks 15 years younger than it did a month ago - and as much as I was looking forward to getting our van tidied up, I didn't expect such a remarkable change. It gleams. It's changed from standard white to a beautiful metallic sea grey, and there isn't a mark in place that belies it's original colour. Bumps and dings have all vanished without a trace, and rust? what rust? When the team at Scotspray found one of the sills were rotten, before continuing, a call was made to my other half to discuss next steps (which involved us replacing the sill and Scotspray fitting it). When the van was completed, the wheels were found to be wanting, so Scotspray had them powdercoated at the shop next door, for gratis. That saved us a job, as we were planning to replace them for the same reason.
