Let's start way back in the beginning. I was told by another electrical service company in my area, that they were the best of the best. Judging by his success, me and my partner decided to give it a shot. We did the "video chat" entry thing, told us roughly 1500$/monthly to build the website and optimize it with the AI seo stuff. Fine. Send it. Also told us for the Google ads, we'd have to contribute for a marketing fund, so we alloted a smaller amount in the beginning to get started. From December 2022 until roughly April of 2023, seemed like they had it well enough together. Communication was pretty much once every 2-3 months, talking about goals and our target income for the year. AFTER April, calls just fell off. We were told, that the campaign needed MORE funds to be effective. So we put a little more in, results increased a little, but pretty much breaking even with the amount we were investing. Get a random call, telling us we had a new account manager. He stuck with us for about 2 months, get another call, poof, another account manager. All in all in 3 years of buisness together, we've been passed around about 4-6 times to different account managers. If things don't change this month, we're going to be evaluating different options or potentially ending the partnership entirely. Word of advice to those reading the reviews, I'm sure this company is successful for some but I think it comes down to who manages your campaigns and your ads. If I knew what I knew now and could go back in time, I would've just avoided the entire situation. Stay away. read more

I would not recommend Scorpion. When I started with them, I was showing up on page seven for Google searches for San Diego Divorce attorneys. Five months into my one-year contract, I am hovering around page 3 or 4. When I started with Scorpion, I was told things would be slow at first, but I could expect about a case per month. After six months, I have signed up only one Scorpion client. When I started with Scorpion, I was told that reviews were often what made the difference between a good ranking and a poor ranking. I was given a platform to help get reviews. What a flop. I have sent out requests for 30 reviews and have not received a single one, good or bad. Scorpion claims that I have received 213 leads since I signed up. This is highly misleading. Scorpion assigns a special tracking number that is displayed on the website. But what this means is that every call to me - whether it's spam, opposing counsel, an old client, or even my dentist reminding me of an appointment--shows up as a lead. This is because the quickest way to look up someone's number is to Google them, and so when this happens, people get the tracking number. Perhaps I should have done more homework before signing up. Scorpion itself only has a 3.0 on Yelp, so who is this company to be teaching others how to get good reviews? When I complained about my lack of reviews to Scorpion, I was told that "this is a number's game". Well, zero is indeed a number. It's not as if I have not followed Scorpion's advice. I have been proactive and have engaged in phone and Zoom meetings with Julie DeCuir, the representative assigned to my account. I am spending exactly what Scorpion suggested I should spend when I signed up for services, so you can't blame me for being cheap. SEO probably works for some people, but you have to know what you're doing. The people at Scorpion who I have dealt with obviously do not know what they are doing. In other words, I think there is some sort of effort but Scorpion is just as clueless about what Google is looking for as anyone else. And then on top of all of this, of the few consultations directly attributable to my web site, most of them have been of poor quality, from people who are not working or own no property or have no money or a combination of all of this. One of the biggest concerns my husband and I had was retaining the website if we chose not to move forward after the one-year contract period. Well, here we are, choosing not to move forward, and we will lose the website that we paid for; now, we have to pay someone else to recreate the website. I have reviewed the video I took of the original call, and we were told, "Absolutely, you will retain ownership of your website." They took advantage of us with the tricky wording: yes, you retain your domain name. However, the website is completely taken down. We paid a $750 set-up fee, $2,500 a month for 12 months, and we probably only received four relevant calls in the 12 months. This company makes and breaks promises. The website does not transfer to you and is not accessible to you so you have to build a new website when your contract is up. They want you to spend $2,500 - $5,000 per month on google because "organic searched take time". Microsoft search is nearly non existent. No matter how much money you throw at Scorpion, you will be wasting your time on bad leads and spending money on google. I can say that the people are nice to work with but they spend a lot of time telling you how many leads you are getting when the leads are solicitors, people who cannot afford service of potential clients who just want free advice. read more

Sneaky tactics, breached their contract with me, made things worse and full of excuses. In my contract, Scorpion promised to do SEO for me in 3 locations. After 2 years, they tried to work on SEO in only two locations. I asked for a refund for the 3rd location, since my contract was based on the work they were supposed to do. They refused and told me I couldn't sue them as my contract forced me into arbitration instead. In one of the locations they did (supposedly do work on), I went from basically being # 1 in the rankings before they began to permanently being on the 2nd page of google. From day 1 to the end they said, "Give it more time". The other location, I went from being on the bottom of page 1 to top of page 2 for the keywords I need. Scorpion says but look "these keywords (ones that do not matter) you are ranking really high." I could go on and on. Bottom line is that Scorpion only cares about getting customers in contracts that they know are hard to get out of (btw-they insist on getting paid by credit card and I couldn't argue with my credit card company; I even tried to close the credit card and get an entirely new card number and somehow someway, Scorpion figured out how to continue billing me). They do not deliver what they promise and in my case they actually made things worse. Now that I'm past my 2 year jail sentence with them, I switched to a company that does the same thing (only better) for roughly 10% the cost. Please do not be an idiot like me.
