Great store the service was amazing the jewelers and workers were are so helpful. They worked with me to get the diamond I wanted and also explained to me the different types of clarity and grade of a diamond when picking a diamond they had to order it and than attach it to the ring I had all while staying in my budget I ended up getting a great deal and the diamond was ready for pick up after 2-3 weeks. I had not given a estimate on what I could afford, I was willing to pay what I needed to for what I wanted. She made comments regarding some rings being too expensive. This rubbed me the wrong way since I didn't state how much I could afford. I left even though I wanted the ring and went to Daniels instead. I found a nicer ring and spent $600 more there then what this lady quoted me for the ring from Scorpions. I took a two-piece set of wedding rings for appraisal. The first appraisal was $5,000.00 I had the second appraisal at Scorpions. A female greeted me and I told her what I wanted. The male jeweler came from the back. The two looked at each other very nervously. The male asked if he could take the ring to the back and clean it before appraisal. I said yes. The entire time he was out of my sight the female continued to keep a close watch looking very nervously as she looked back and fourth from me to him. Finally he came back with the ring and told me the ring was worthless and that someone had damaged the ring trying to remove the five diamonds. He said he could only give me around $800.00. I said no and took it back to the first appraiser. The first appraiser asked me where I had taken the ring and I told him I took it for a second appraisal. That jeweler was very honest and told me I had been screwed. He said when I came in the first time the ring had real diamonds. He said the diamonds had been removed carefully. This appraiser never took the ring out of my sight on either visit. The jeweler and his overweight female assistant stole the diamonds out of this ring on my first visit. I went back to scorpions and since the ring meant nothing to me I told him I would accept his original offer of $800.00 He looked at me with a big smile. When he gave me the cash the female was still nervously shaking and looking around. When leaving I told him it was only fair that he have the ring since he had already stole the diamonds. His facial expression totally changed. This set of rings meant nothing to me. If you have some expensive rings and you go there, DO NOT LET THIS JEWELER OUT OF YOUR SIGHT WITH YOUR JEWELRY. I was looking around a few places for an engagement ring...when I walked into Scorpion Jewelers it seemed different. I didn't feel pressured when I was looking at their options. I told the lady Vicky what I was looking for, the budget that I had in mind and then she started showing me a few options. She was very nice, respectful and not pushy or trying to "sell me." The most important part to me in looking or the "right ring" was something different and special. She also told me that they were a custom jeweler so they could make or change anything. Which was a huge help...I ended up seeing a 3 stone princess ring that I liked and wanted to switch out a few stones to Sapphires. So I got a price quote and decided to sleep on it. I came back the next day and put down the deposit and was told it may be ready in a few days. To my surprise, I received a call a few days early from Vicky that it was ready for pick up! From the very beginning to the end when I proposed the entire process and purchase was as smooth as I thought and hoped it would be. And.....she said yes! And absolutely loved the ring! Yesterday I bought an earrings for my daughter and Vicky was kind enough to give me discount price. Today, my daughter noticed a flaw, almost invisible flaw on one of the earrings. My Daughter and myself went back to the store hoping that the earing will be fixed ( keeping in mind that their policy of sales are final and no refund) however, at the time I pointed at the flaw, she immediately offers a refund. I gave her my credit card and she processed the refund and my daughter was happy to be able to return the earrings but she was disappointed because she loves the earring so much but could not keep them. read more

BE CAREFUL IF YOU FEEL YOU MUST SPEND ANY MONEY HERE!!! My third experience as a customer of Scorpion makes me wonder if I was suckered the first two times I gave this store my business (and money). I recently visited the Scorpion location in the Westminster Mall for a simple repair. I was quoted three days and a decent price for the repair. The day I was to pick up the completed repair I was contacted by the owner (also the jeweler who conducted the "repair") who told me that the repair would cost 50% more than originally quoted and agreed, and would take an additional two days. Upon my return later that week, the owner heard I was in the shop to pick up the repair, and he (suspiciously enough) immediately exited the store, and let his employee return the piece. Upon inspection, it was clear that the repair was completely unacceptable and extremely suspect. The "repair" ended up consisting of a broken stone which turned out not to even be a diamond. The remaining stones also appeared to have been different than those in the piece when the piece was left at Scorpion for repair. Upon inspection by 3 other reliable jewelers, I was told that it was clear that multiple stones did not match the color or quality of the original stones which Scorpion had not touched (but the repair only consisted of one stone.....(what REALLY happened here???????). Since I was not witness to the repair, I cannot say that multiple stones were swapped and replaced with different stones.........but you can read between the lines. The Better Business Bureau already has our complaint. Shop around, and if your jeweler will not deal with you directly, BE SUSPICIOUS!!! read more
