I just got my second round of actor headshots back from Score Headshots. My first round was about four years ago, and they knocked it out of the park. I've had so many complements on the photos from that session. I love the one I selected for my printed headshot. It's done a great job of catching the eye of many a casting agent; however, time marches on and I was in need of more current, representative photos. Fortunately, I already knew where to go and I am no less thrilled with the results! ...Even though I have aged a bit. Score Headshots is the perfect place for headshots. I decided to try it out after a bad experience somewhere else. And I couldn't be happier. Natalie Cass is a world-class photographer and she made me completely at ease. It can be an intimidating experience to sit and have someone else take your picture. But Natalie 's warm smile and flawless bedside manners (yet very casual and not stuffy or anything) really made the difference. She showed me pictures as we went along, listened to my preferences and taught me great tricks to look better on camera. I felt I had a saying in it, that my opinion mattered. We tried quite a few backgrounds and outfits. She asked about my favorite band or singer, and turned on her IPod so I would enjoy my experience. Her main concern was that I got what I was looking for, that I was a happy customer. I also love the studio's urban feel, and I was able to find parking space right up front. I scheduled a short notice headshot session online which was completely and kindly accommodated. Payment in full is required up front. The photographer was courteous, kind, insightful and professional. The shoot was actually fun. I was promised my retouched finals two days later. The deadline came and went as did my own deadline. Texts became less responsive. After an additional 4 days, I finally received my retouched photos. The company blamed the photographer for not informing the retouch artist of my deadline and did apologize for missing my deadline (and me for not informing the photographer up front of my tight deadline). They are apparently very busy with other customers as well which caused delay. To "compensate" I was offered 2 additional retouched photos. I declined. I was left faceless on marketing materials, out $250, and less than satisfied. Two more images from the same session seemed like a thoughtless canned customer service script instead of a company trying to take responsibility for late delivery. read more
