Over the past few years, Peacocks has been rebranded as a value fashion store, but still doesn't stand out on the level that bigger name Primark does, especially with Primark enjoying fame in Manchester with a huge, warehouse size, 3 floor store in Manchester city center, which is probably the most reviewed shop I've seen on Yelp, other than the posh, well-known ones in London!
Now back to the store in hand, this branch is located in the Middleton Shopping Centre, in quite a good location next to the exit to the bus station and opposite the new, relocated Heron Foods and Quality Save on the ground floor.
This store has been in Middleton quite a few years now, and still doesn't seem to be as updated, to stand out with the moving technology, and even shops becoming nicer and more modern in the Middleton Shopping Centre, such as a good amount of shops relocating in the mall, or setting up shop alltogether, for example in the past year, the Middleton Shopping Centre now has a Costa Coffee and a Sports Direct, with both Heron Foods and Quality Save moving to better, bigger locations.
This branch of Peacocks is okay, but it is pretty poor, it is quite a large store, but still most of it seems like junk, a jungle sale perhaps with no real order in the sense of where things should be, it appears a little cluttered.
They did sell a few character T-shirts such as for the new Batman V Superman movie, but none of the clothing stood out to me as nice or fashionable and just seemed cheap, and low-quality, even worse than Primark perhaps.
This store isn't terrible because let's face it, for a small town it's the best we've got and sadly probably ever will get, and due to it being one of the better shops for value range non-Sportswear in Middleton (We already have Sports Direct and Branded), I feel it does deserve two stars.
