For our Thailand Ridgeback - just like home IS- just like…read morehome! he is an extremely protective breed therefore, is not typically keen on people however, he loves all of the staff there in Palm city. This is easily seen as he is so excited when we arrive to go inside and loves to go with the various handler's and they are even able to bathe him which other people have not been able to do. We personally put him in the kennel ourselves and the kennel has been clean every time we've arrived and the staff clearly are all "dog lovers" They have the newer technology and are also able to communicate via email and text. We highly recommend Just Like Home Kennels if you have a very private and or challenging breed. Our Thailand Ridgeback is apparently one in around 100 or so here in the US and is extremely protective unlike the Rhodesian ridgeback's from Africa SO, if our dog loves just like home- yours should too!

The property is large and beautiful with lots of land yes but your dog won't see any of that. They'll see their concrete kennel and a very small dog run right outside the kennel every couple of hours. They DO NOT ALLOW ANY DOGS TO PLAY TOGETHER. Just like home you say??? Ummmmmm....Just Like Jail would be a more appropriate name. I understand some people are fine with boarding their dogs in a place like this but it's completely false advertising. Call it what it is and save yourselves more bad reviews like this one.

Marc with Bark Busters and his program was amazing with our dog Niko!! Niko has always been a sweet…read moredog but has had numerous behavior problems with recognizing us as the leaders of the house. Especially when it came to disciplining him when he was bad and he would just growl at us and snap his teeth in defiance. After a few hours with Marc, Niko instantly improved on being walked with a leash and not walking ahead, also being called to sit next to me and not move. These exercises and more condition the dog to recognize our alpha position over him. What's more, last night he jumped on the couch after he had a bath and laid on there (full knowing that was bad) and I got on his case and disciplined him like I usually do. But this time....NO growing back or snapping his teeth! We didn't even train that part with him but he KNEW where his place was and he just sat there and listened. My wife and I couldn't believe it! Marc and his program has worked beyond our expectations and know he will be able to further train him in other areas using this system. And we know we can rely on Marc coming over to help us again if we ever need the help. Very much worth the money! Thank you again!!
