Camera Wholesalers did extensive testing with my lens and two of their own lenses, including a brand-new one. They also did a super-detailed look at the sensor. It turns out the spot was internal to the used lens and couldn't be repaired in-house, but the owner of Camera Wholesalers talked me through the options and costs. I ended up returning the lens to Indiana for a full refund, which was accomplished based on CW's investigation. I feel badly that I couldn't afford a new lens from CW, but they have exactly what I need in stock and the service is exceptional. They've earned a customer for life for any camera issue, and when I finally start making some money in photography I will purchase my new stuff from them exclusively! In the mean time I figured an epic review couldn't hurt. Go there. Support them. They are great.
