After driving through quaint villages and the gently rolling hills, we arrived at this friendly place for a good meal. We were immediately greeted by a friendly hostess who showed us to our table and took our coats. Once seated, our drink orders were taken (when in Alsace, go with a white -- vine to table here and it doesn't disappoint), and we were quickly served. I decided on "Coq au Riesling" with a side of Gratin Dauphinois (coq au vin with au gratin potatoes to any English speakers). The kitchen was fast and service was attentive, and I was soon enjoying my meal. It was perfect! Tender chicken in a savory cream sauce with mushrooms, and a perfectly cooked potatoes with a crisp of cheese on top. I would definitely order this again! I was too full for my own dessert but got a few bites of crème brûlée that one of my fellow diners ordered. You won't be disappointed if you get it.
