I was referred to Dr. Schwartz by my primary physician. When I called to make an appointment, I requested to see him. I waited 2 months for my appointment. I arrive and the front desk girl told me to finish filling out my paperwork quickly even though I was there right on time. She said she had to get me into a room immediately... not a great way to start with a new patient. Then I spent 40 minutes talking to a physician assistant which I was confused about since I made the appointment to see Dr. Schwartz. He came in the last 15 minutes and was very nice. I went to the front desk to make my follow up because he said he wanted to see me in 1-2 weeks. The front desk girl told me you won't see him for another year he's booked until February 2022 and you'll just see the physician assistant from now on. I asked why if he had just told me he wanted to see me for a follow up and she said that the physician assistant consults with him, but that he wouldn't meet with me until next year. I asked if they had anything available from 3:30 onward in 2022 and she said that his schedule is changing and he'll only be available until 2:30. At that point, I took my paperwork and said I'll find another doctor. This felt more like a sales department and less like a doctor's office. Rushing a new patient who is on time to finish paperwork, never telling the patient when booking the real circumstances of seeing an assistant and not Dr. Schwartz himself throughout the year, and the schedule being booked for over a year and hours changing is too complicated for me. I'll go elsewhere. Waste of time. read more
