Extremely disappointed with the treatment I received from the front desk staff at this office. I…read morehad an appointment with the nurse practitioner recently, who was professional and recommended I get specific lab work done. She told me to call the office once I completed the labs, as the results might not show up quickly on their end and follow-up was important. Today, I called just to inform them that I had completed the labs--and was hung up on twice by the receptionist. I wasn't even allowed to explain why I was calling, she talk over me all the time. When I politely asked for her name so I could escalate the issue, she said, "You will never get my name from me," and hung up again. This is incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable behavior. Patients should never be treated with this level of disrespect--especially when dealing with serious health concerns. I hope the management takes this seriously because the medical staff deserves better representation at the front desk.

The coward had one of his staff call me to find another primary doctor. It's called patient abandment. I was forced to get my insurance company involved. He doesn't care about his patients, only wants the money. Put diagnosis on my blood work order and claimed I had chronic fatigue and diabetes, which I do not have. Rakeeda who is in charge of test results doesn't return or accept phone calls and important life support tests are not ordered, results are not available unless you physically go into the office and she lies about tests that she says are waiting for results when they were never ordered. Rude and incompetent a horrible combination. A test for my heart was never ordered until I came in and got the blood drawn again 2 weeks later. Now I can't get the results or a referral to a cardiologist or even make an appointment with the doctor because she blocked my phone from calling the office. Totally dangerous and unprofessional. Unfortunately, doctor Mishkin lets this behavior go unchecked and his patients are suffering. Imagine. A doctor's office blocking a sick patient's phone.

Doctor Mishkin and nursing staff are fine. Nurse Anna does a great job and appointments are on time…read morewith wait time minimal. It's the referral dept. that needs to be revamped. I've had nothing but nightmares dealing with this dept. The latest was a referral that they knew about for 4 months. First of all, I had to file a complaint with Humana because the Doctor and nurse refused to make an appt. with an eye doctor in Network of my choosing rather than their choosing. (that got resolved! )They actually told me I wasn't allowed to pick the in network (Bascom Palmer #1 for 24 years in eye care) doctors. Not True according to Humana Gold Plus, I am allowed to choose in Network Doctors. Back to the referral dept. I called at least three times to get the referral in motion. No response other than when speaking to Stacy she said it would be handled. I decided to give her a reminder on March 17 th since my appt. was on April 1 2026. Got nothing but attitude. Next phone call was from Bascom Palmer (March 25))asking if I could please call Mishkin's office as the referral was not there and they had gotten no response either. I then called and sorry to say I was furious and wanted to file a complaint with Dr, Mishkin. The lady who answered was cordial and took down the info. Today, the day before my appt. I had to go in and pick up the referral. NO Phone call to let me know what was happening as requested. Not their responsibility Stacy said. I will be looking for another Doctor as this experience has been repeated over and over with this dept. Unfortunately, the buck stops with the Doctor for not being on top of this on going problem!
