However there were a few spots on the benches and floors that were a bit sticky from a slipped drink or something else. The women's bathroom was clean and stocked. They have a snack bar too with concession options. But there wasn't staff man it at the time we tried to get snacks and drinks. As a visitor, here is what I can tell you: The parking lot can get a little tight in the middle of league night when it is the busiest. The facility is big and bright and clean. The restrooms (women's at least) have never been wanting for soap or toilet paper or anything and honestly were cleaner than I expected them to be when I used them the first time. The concessions are more than fairly priced, in comparison to other league play spots I have been. They have an impressive selection of adult beverages. TVs and available streaming and channels for watching televised games after the league. Friendly staff. And they are quick with what is needed or asked for when there is an injury. Pretty alright all around.

The lady from Metro who hosted our overnight was fantastic too. She was fun, friendly and welcoming to all our guests. The facility is huge with something to do for everyone! It also was very clean and well laid out. There are many convenient aspects to Metro if you are hosting a party including lockers for your guests, to an ice maker for your party needs, a concession stand open all night for your guests, video arcade games, batting cages,basketball, volleyball and of course their soccer field. If you are going to rent a facility for kids, and you need to have a lot of different activities for them, this is the best place!

We're proud of them and we're glad that they are thinking about MLS. We're hoping that the Louisville soccer team makes it into MLS at some point, they're a dark horse behind the likes of Phoenix, Sacramento and Indianapolis, but I think it'd be great because there is a massive fanbase here in this town, which doesn't have any major sports, and it would be a wise idea to give them the fifth major sport, which might some may end up becoming one of the top three in the country and passing hockey and baseball if it hasn't already started doing that. That fan section though…read more It is a great time to go see Louisville City play football (no, American hand-ball isn't football, shut up Brad). The play was great, the fans were great, the fan section making all the noise and smoke? Marvelous! Sure, nothing will ever beat British rowdies or German fans but they outdo themselves. I'm not usually a fan of public money going toward private endeavors - like stadiums for sports that have never shown to return on investment but by golly since I am going to use it is let's go ahead and dig deep folks, let's have a proper stadium. Slugger Field is ugh and in a crappy place with worse parking. The Yum Center has shown that when you throw good money after bad, we show up. Let's do this properly!

I want to applaud Goebel for the work they did to provide a safe environment to the players and spectators. Masks were required for all on fields and parking lots (except for players during a game only), per the Evansville indoor and outdoor mask mandate. The staff did a great job of enforcing this and asking spectators, nicely, to comply. The bathrooms were kept cleaned and stocked with hand soap, tp, and sanitizers. The fields were clear, clean, and well-marked for all the games. The only con was that there were several deep holes around the fields that were easy to trip over and should be filled. Bleachers were marked off to keep people off of them during COVID. There are paved walkways to most of the fields, making it an easier walk especially when toting wagons, etc. Plenty of parking and easy in/out access.
