I couldn't believe I felt absolutely no pain during the procedure and even the shots to numb my mouth was completely pain free. His office is rather plain, but I have to many dentists with fancy offices only to leave in pain. He is absolutely non judgemental- how many times did you go to the dentist only to be lectured about what your doing wrong. He is however very informative about how to have better dental health. Did you know you can floss your entire dental bridge? The dentist I used to go to put the bridge in and never educated me on how to care for it. He is friendly, but not overly, and he works within your dental coverage. Finally, have you ever had a dental emergency? I did and he returned my call quickly and offered to come in on the weekend to fit my schedule. He also has evening hours. I never wrote about a medical professional before, but I just had to with Dr. Flaherty. If there were more dentists like him, people wouldn't be so afraid of dentists.

I don't care about paying the 100 dollars, but the way we got the third degree and got scolded like a bunch of deadbeats was terrible by their office manager!! So very bad manners!! There's way too many other qualified doctors,to be treated this way!! Rude nasty person!

This is a great dentist office! I am fairly new to the area, less than a year, and have been here…read moretwice since then for basic cleanings and xrays. The entire practice is friendly and professional, all the way from the front desk to the technicians to Dr. Sulkowski himself. I wanted to share my wonderful orthodontics experience... an interesting series of events finally…read morelanded me to Dahar Orthodontics. It all began at my dental appt when the dentist handed me a deck of cards to choose my orthodontist. In addition, I had a consult at a local university, as I heard I could save some money. They recommended that I have several teeth removed! They mentioned I need some contraption to put around my neck to pull my jaw back which my chiropractor highly recommended against. At this time, I was also suffering from headaches due to possible TMJ. I've never been good with cards, but thank goodness the 2nd one was Dahar Orthodontics! Both Dr. Dahar & the staff treated me with the utmost respect. They are very knowledgeable and professional. Their reception reminded me more of a Ritz-Carlton experience as opposed to a doctor's office. I was extremely satisfied with the treatment fee and the multiple financial plans the Dahar office offered. The decision was easy; I told myself this is my smile, something that will last me the rest of my life. I decided to follow my heart. It is now years later and my teeth look just as beautiful as the day the braces were removed... no headgear, no extractions and the constant headaches that I suffered from on a daily basis are gone. Today, I feel beyond blessed and fortunate! Without hesitation, I highly recommend DAHAR ORTHODONTICS.

Do not listen to any of the 5 star reviews. When I went one of the tech ladies that worked on me…read morewas using the drill it fell apart in my mouth. I had to sit up to make sure I did not choke on the drill bit. The lady apologized and claimed that she had never had to tighten her tools before. They have left glue on my teeth from old brackets, cut up my cheeks from the wires, and cut my gums. The orthodontist always talked to me in a baby voice and hardly ever actually checked my teeth. They also continuously lie about what needs done on your teeth, constantly finding new problems that weren't there before just to keep your braces on "just a few more weeks." All the 5 star reviews are from bribing clients with a drawing for some new thing for everyone who gives them a 5 star review. I have never heard a good thing in person about their practice.

To be honest I hadn't been to the dentist in over three year~yikes!~ so I had some plaque build up. I have had some negative experiences with my past dentist so I'm always skeptical. However, she did a great job and I felt very comfortable the whole time. Dr. Thomas came in after my cleaning and he was also very friendly and professional! He answered all my questions thoughtfully. I also really liked when I asked him about my bottom crooked teeth that mentioned visaline and how they had a specialist at their practice but he did not pressure me at all and just mentioned it for if down the line I wanted to consider it. Also my previous dentist told me that it was imperative that I got my wisdom teeth pulled Dr. Thomas informed me that there is no reason for me to get my wisdom teeth pulled. I loved how honest this practice was and that they weren't trying to nickel and dime you. This is the greatest doctor experience I have ever had! Would 100% recommend this place to everyone!

Dr Arnie would take time to consult with you about any dental work needed, but now you are just told what needs done and to schedule an appointment. Multiple times I have had the current dentists try to insist on getting root canals, and not take the time to talk with me about what I think. My teeth are not very sensitive, and Dr Arnie would always take into consideration that each person is different- he provided me with multiple fillings where a root canal could have been an option, but in each case his excellent work has held up and limited the amount of pain & money that would have come from constant root canals. Instead of a focus on patient care, there seems to be more of a focus on financial gain - my last appt I was quoted for over $1800 of work that would need done and had to all be done at the same time. Did not do any of it, and still no issues more than a year later. The office staff is also very unfriendly, especially to a family needing to book multiple appts at once. They refuse to book cleanings any less than 8 months out (despite 6 months being the recommended time frame) yet take on new patients and give them priority scheduling. They seem to also have a shortage of dental hygienists, claiming they have more business than can currently be handled by their staff. We had gone to this dentist for more than 25 years without having any of these issues, but with the retirement of Dr Arnie it is no longer a good dentist office. I would highly recommend finding a different dentist to avoid the same poor service we have experienced.

I am pleased to have found Polished Dental Group. I actually really liked my other dentist so was apprehensive about going somewhere else, but I didn't want to wait because I thought I had a cavity. Well, unfortunately I was correct about the cavity. But fortunately I was really happy with the service I received. I'm a nervous dental patient with a small mouth. I'm sure I'm not a joy to work on. But both the hygienist and the dentist were patient and pleasant with me. When we first started the hygienist said I had to have full X-rays done but insurance only covers every three years. Immediately I figured I was going to have to pay a ton. But she explained if insurance didn't cover, it was only $10. This set me at ease immediately that they wouldn't nickel and dime me. My insurance covered anyway, but still. Additionally, all costs were upfront for everything. I opted for fluoride which my insurance doesn't cover. Was told cost before proceeding. When I checked out, I was also told how much my filling would be at next visit. It was all very reasonable. Like I said I'm a very nervous dental patient. During my cleaning and inspection, both the hygienist and dentist were vocal about what they were doing and that they would be gentle around my sensitive tooth (yes, the cavity!). Usually I feel like I am pulling away and wincing and generally freaking out. But their reassurances relaxed me, and I could calm down. And they were very gentle around the area so as not to cause me pain. I am so glad I found this office and so grateful for their excellent chair side manner. I can't say I'm looking forward to coming back (did I mention the cavity?), but at least I can be much less nervous about the upcoming filling.
