    Sunset perfection

Truly an amazing one of a kind experience. Read this review and go book your vacation. You won't be sorry. Captain Noah and crew are spectacular and amazing to watch handle such a majestic vessel.

Just back from a wonderful sail on this great 151 year old wooden schooner. The boat is maintained in excellent condition, the Captain and crew are focused on making sure passengers have a great time and the food is unbelievable. You would never expect such great fare could come from a wood stove in a schooner galley but it does. Guests are welcome to pitch in, raising and trimming sail and even manning the anchor windless...or just sit back and watch. If you have a sense of adventure this is a great way to enjoy the beauty of the Maine coast.

Celine on the Tabor and her sister ship Ladona is one of the best vacations you will ever take!! The crew will take care of you like it's a five-star restaurant and the food is incredibly delicious. Stunning days sailing and wonderful evenings anchored in a secluded cove somewhere, complete with a lobster bake on shore one night, will make this one of your repeat destinations.

Don't miss this chance to LIVE OUT floating history on the oldest documented continuously operating sailing vessel. Sailed on a 5-night cruise with friends on their second Stephen Taber trip because they chose to get married onboard this time! Captain Noah and crew offered an adventure we will remember forever. Amazing food, lobster feast on the beach, harbors and lighthouses, musica Americana, and the ability to hoist and rig with the crew. They were all first rate. We can't wait to return.

Food was excellently prepared and served. Captain Tyler, first mate Courtney and the rest of the crew were knowledgeable, efficient, hard-working, friendly, nice people. Very nice to be around and the rest of the guests, therewere only 14 of us, were interesting people from all across the US. This is my second trip on the Schooner American Eagle. This was the trip of a lifetime! The captain, Tyler King, knows his boat inside and out and is an incredibly sailor and a wonderful guy! He even read us sailor stories one night and sang and played the guitar to serenade us to sleep! His awesome crew (Elias, Courtney, Lily, and Kate) were phenomenal and helped Tyler sail the ship to perfection! Their enthusiasm and zest for life is infectious! The outstanding cooks, Marty and Quinn, made the most incredible meals every single day, and they were five star! I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the American Eagle!! They all catered to our every need and were beyond kind and so much fun! We all just felt like one big family! We also were able to compete in the famous great American schooner race on July 4 and it was spectacular and exciting! What a blast! I could go on and on about this wonderful Trip we took. Run, don't walk, to Rockland, Maine and climb aboard the most amazing schooner adventure of a lifetime! We never wanted to leave, and we will miss them all, and that gorgeous schooner, so much!
