My elder daughter has been going to scholars for over a year now. She started when she just turned 3 and we felt ready to put her into an institution from a home based daycare. It was the right decision, because we have seen her grow so much from her time at scholars. The teachers really pour their heart into nurturing and caring for the kids. She comes home with amazing art work, work sheets and tells us about all the new things she learns every week. They organize a lot of events where parents get a chance to connect with teachers and other parents. The annual spring and winter concerts are very well organized and it's rewarding to see the community come together. Overall it's been a very fulfilling experience and we're glad we found scholars ! They encourage outdoor playtime and also hone kids' personal preferences as well. Their reports are also very detailed and specific for each kid. They have also started meal service which is a huge relief for busy parents. I cannot wait to send my younger daughter to scholars once she's ready. read more

Scholars Academy has been like a second home to both my kids. I enrolled my daughter at the time when I was pregnant with my second child and it was just after Covid. We had tried varies other private schools and none of them suited us. Scholars welcomed my child with open arms. The teachers nurtured her so well. They looked after her like family. My daughter is thriving at Scholars and so is my son now. Scholars stands out for its commitment to overall child development. I was personally looking for a school that not only fosters academic growth but also other extracurricular activities like basketball, chess, gymnastics and such and Scholars perfectly aligns with those values. They also conduct Science fair, spelling bee and speech and debate competitions for the elementary kids. The kids are provided with exceptional training, fostering discipline in students of all age. We started sending my first child here in 2022. We love that he grew into this confident, fun loving, caring kid and not to mention social butterfly. He loves going to school see his teacher and friends daily now he tells me what he did in school what teachers helped him with etc.He is learning so much these past two years and teachers and administrators communicate really well. My second child 2 years old also just started here and I am already seeing him getting interested in potty training, water coloring etc. he jumped to go to school yesterday its only his second week in the school. AVOID I enrolled my son here about 2 years ago, the first couple of months was fine. Then I noticed he was coming home with bruises on his arm I asked for explanation and their response was "kids play during recess rough with each other" then my son started verbalizing he didn't want to go anymore he would cry. Should of listened but at the time I was like it's normal what kids wants to go school. Then his teacher went on a medical leave and then suddenly he didn't have any issues with going to school he came home happy, he actually looked forwarded going to school. Then that teacher came back and the issues started again coming home with bruises. I even played school with him myself and I acted as my son and him the teacher and he started aggressive yelling at me pushing my head down. I immediately reached out to them and of course they attempted to cover themselves. I immediately withdrew my son from this school due to being verbally and physically abuse! I'm surprise they still have that's teacher working there. I took him to the doctors they examined him took pictures of his bruises, I currently have an open investigation up to this date with the public department of state and the law enforcement. read more

Our son was enrolled in their Pre-school this past academic year. We had an absolute amazing experience from the admissions process to transition from being home to school to his learning throughout the school year. Ms. Ali, Ms. Tarika and all the teachers do a wonderful job with all the students. Exposure to different arts and crafts, and just learning curriculum and assessments throughout the year. His teachers (Ms. Ruth and Ms. Khyati and then Ms. Amruta) are super patient with him. He had a bit of a rough patch, but they were extremely helpful and communicated well with us on how to help him at home and what we needed to discuss and address with him. I absolutely love Scholars Academy. My daughter joined Scholars Academy when she was 4. She went to Preschool, Kindergarten and Grade 1. Ms. Ali, Ms. Tarika and Ms. Mallika are some of the best teachers I have met. They are kind, understanding and have great experience in teaching the kids. The school has science fair, spelling bee, pumpkin patch, Halloween parades, debate and so on. The school's academic curriculum is unquestionably beneficial to the kids. When all the schools shut down for pandemic, Scholars Academy started online classes faster than most of the schools I knew. They were very organized in distributing the material and made sure everyone finished their work. I highly recommend Scholars Academy to any parent who are looking for academically inclined curriculum and the kids will have fun learning. My daughter would continue here if weren't moving. My daughter attended Scholar's Academy during this past summer. She was quite happy, actually learning and not just playing all day. Staff was super friendly and nurturing so I decided to put her their for Kinder. What can I say? I cannot stop raving about their curriculum, and I must say I am not to be easily impressed. My daughter has learned and her confidence grew so much in just a few months. Best part is they have talent show, science fair, and current events etc. I know it could sound like a bit much for kinder but my daughter says that is why she loves being at Scholar's! My daughter has been going to Scholars academy from the past 3 years and it has been a wonderful experience. All teachers at Scholars are very passionate about teaching and take good care of kids. Academically Scholars is a great school to start for as they provide a very good foundation in Math, Phonics and Arts. Every year we are surprised by the skills learnt by kids at scholars. Its not just the academics, the school environment is very kid friendly.Scholars organise beautiful events and help children realize the importance of every occasion. Our daughter was very hesitant to go to school when she was 3,but thanks to the teachers and the staff now she just loves going to school. Initially we had Ms Ali guide us through the transition from home to school and we will always be grateful for the care and nurture she provided. During Pre-K our daughter was taught by Ms Vaishali, Ms Zaina and Ms Maithili and they were fantastic. They never forced the kids but made sure kids make practice as a habit. Then COVID was hit. It was hard on the family and kids. Scholars were quick to adapt and carried out the program very well. Our daughter received a great gift of learning Phonics from Ms Ruth. Her classes were so good that as parents we relived our childhood attending online classes.In kindergarten, our daughter was taught by Ms Mallika and we cant expect anything more than what she has given to the class, In terms of both Academics and discipline, Ms Mallika guided the kids lovingly. Thanks to Ms Tarika who always there to listen to us as parents and helped us understand their vision. My daughter has been attending Scholars Academy preschool for 14 months now and I am thankful we found this school. She was frightened to start school but after 1 or 2 days in Ms. Maithili's class she was excited to go to school. She has had Ms. Ali, Ms. Ruth and Ms. Khyati for her teachers and they are all excellent. My daughter currently goes to scholars academy for kindergarten and i felt this review had to be written even before the school year got over. I am amazed by the number of activities they have and keep the kids so engaged. The pumpkin patch, the fun fair, the debate competition , the science projects. All impeccably done and the kids have so much fun. My daughter looks forward to going to school everyday and enjoys her time at school. The importance given to academics is what got me drawn to the school but they had much more to offer. The weekly PE and music lessons & science activity days are so enjoyable for the kids. Ms. Mallika is such a great kindergarten teacher who makes learning basics of english and math so fun . Our daughter has been attending Scholars academy since she was 3.5 years old. It took her few weeks to adjust to this new environment but with the help of her teachers this transition went smooth . All the teachers/directors are very passionate, caring and nurturing towards kids. They let you know if your kid is lagging behind in any area and work with you to overcome that gap. Best thing about this school is they don't push kids to do stuff. Instead they work with each kid as per that kids needs and aptitude. My daughter has been attending Scholars Academy since past 5 months. It's a great school with wonderful and qualified teachers who are loving, nurturing, warm, kind, and compassionate. During our intro tour, what impressed us most was that we noticed all the teachers knew each kid in the school by their names and what that kid likes/dis-likes. Similarly, all the kids seemed happy and fond of all the teachers in school and not just their own class teacher. This itself showed us how loving and caring the staff was and we immediately signed up on the spot. This turned out to be one of the best decisions we made for our kid. When my daughter initially joined, Ms. Stephanie & Ms. Ali did an excellent job to make her feel comfortable, safe and loved. They didn't force her to follow the class routine rather gave her free space and ample time to get adjusted. My daughter has made tremendous progress not only in academics but also had great social and emotional growth since joining this school. Would not recommend Scholar Academy preschool to any parent? Non stop complaints from teachers. I decided to stop sending my kid here. Well if they don't know how to take care of little kids then why the heck Open school. My kid is pretty good at taking nap, eating food and overall everything at home and outside with friends. If kid is not sleeping in school then figure out way to make them sleep, if kid is not eating food then figure out how to make them eat. I had nightmare experience with them, my kid wouldn't eat for 11 hours while at there school and eat food right after I pick him from school. It felt like they are least interested in spending time and training kid. First it's an expensive school then your service is horrible. They scold kids all the time. Who screams at 3 year old. It's an offense. They should change staff and keep young teachers if the old ones can't do the job. They are worst and teaching kids how to behave and then they give home work to a 3 year old. Worst preschool ever. I regret changing my kids old school and having him go thru this nightmare place experience. Also the staff is whole bunch of liars. I caught them liars many times. They believe in time out policy vs teaching/training lil kids. Why open preschool when you can't handle. I saw my kids tired, hungry and hurt every single day. So relieved we have changed the school. Never going back here and wouldn't recommend to parents who rely on school to do there job right and take care of kids. Lil kids are not safe, no happy and stressed here. read more

The range and variation of the curriculum keeps surprising us, and hearing our little one tell us about his activities reassures us about his day at school. I recently made an appointment to go check this school out for my 3 year old daughter. When I arrived, I was kept waiting for 20 min. I noticed multiple other parents waiting around as well and it wasn't until we all was about to complain that someone from the school came and admitted they had over-booked their schedules. The woman in charge of the tours that day then shuttled us around the school, but was unable to answer anyone's questions....such as, how long the teachers had been working there...how many teachers and assistants in each class...she just didnt know the basic information about the school and that made it look extremely unorganized and unprofessional. The school itself is fairly old. Carpets, equipment and the playground could use a good makeover. We never got around to actually meeting the teachers or see them in action in the classroom. The whole place, including the admin. staff was a total mess! read more
