My only concern with the place is it is right next to a high school, so the kids can be a little antisocial and irritating. I'd avoid this park at the end of school times. It's ok on weekends though as it gets so busy with friendly people (if the weather is nice it is absolutely packed!). They have also recently built a playground for small kids it's really good, has loads to do! There's a skateboard ramp for bigger kids too!

St Ives boasts it's own golf course so if you are that way inclined you can while away a few hours hitting balls into holes (can you tell I'm not a fan!) It also has a beautiful lake with a lovely walk around it which is ideal if you have youngsters who will enjoy feeding the various ducks and other wildlife. They recently introduced a wildlife viewing area where you can sit and watch squirrels and various birds eating from conveniently placed feeding tables. There are lots of paths and walks you can enjoy around the estate, including one which takes you through a large woodland area with many large carved statues for you to discover - the dragon is our favourite! Extra points if you can find the massive carved wooden chain (hint: it's in a tree somewhere near the lake!) There are several large car parks and a children's playground and also tearooms to enjoy, so there really is something for everyone. Definitely a place where you can go have fun with your family, or even relax and get away from it all.

All the pools are usually clean and not too cold. The changing rooms have recently been modernised and as such are cleaner more spacious and have better lockers than the nearby Cannons. They do the full range of swimming and diving lessons and I believe there's a gym and exercises classes somewhere but as it's not my thing I couldn't comment.

Also for the older ones there is a combat area where they can go run wild. There is a cafe but it is quite dear and doesnt have that good a choice. The place has just been refurbished and is nice and clean. The staff are very friendly. Could do with being a bit cheaper as it is a dear day out.

The staff were lovely, the gym itself extremely modern and well spaced. The swimming pool is a good size though trying to avoid the oap's or kids sessions in the day was hard and sometimes got frustrated at the stopping and starting of any training. Loved the smaller cold pool adjacent the sauna and steam rooms and the gym floor itself. Great place.

Communication was great until this point. When the invoice came through for the order, it was 3 times as much as I was originally quoted. I queried this with Mark and it turned out I was incorrectly advised. However he did agree to honour the original quote. Communication began to slow down. I received a couple of excuses for delays - illness, replacing equipment etc. It has now been 2 weeks since I last heard from Mark, I have been emailing and messaging another member of the company called Stuart via Facebook. It's fair to say that they are both ignoring me in the hope I will go away. Surprising for a small company that seems to care about reviews based on what I read on this website. My advice to anyone looking for golf supplies would be to avoid Hazzad and go with a more professional company.
