My husband & 3 friends went Whitetail Deer hunting recently, which the website page says"You will be hunting on a 3,000 acre high fenced hunting preserve" which is a lie. They have 2 ranches, 1,500 acres each, which are an apart. Then it also states " Arrive mid-afternoon on Thursday & shoot your rifle. Hunt the next 3 days & depart on Monday morning." They were told to leave by Sunday afternoon. Also, my husband paid $4,500.00 to shoot a Trophy #2 buck & Never saw one, how convenient. And you do Not get a refund. He could understand No refund for a low fence ranch or if he had been shown a Trophy #2 deer & refused to shoot it, then no refund makes sense. But he never saw a deer over 3yrs old & it must be 51/2 yrs old for a Trophy #2. A total of 4 hunters & not one Trophy deer seen among all the hunters. My husband has hinted a ranch in Pearsall, Tx many times. Menard was the worst experience. Be sure to put your initials on your styrofoam cup because you use the same cup the whole time & the Ribeye steak will be cut in half so don't be hungry. He offered a $1,000.00 discount to come back next year, Why would he bother. read more
