Everyone was friendly, professional, and courteous -- from Amber, who helped me on the phone and during check-in, to David and Devon in the back office, Dr. West, who's expertise immediately diagnosed me, and all the way to Kimberly who helped check me out at the end of my appointment. Unlike the young lady who performed my initial exam, he listened to my concerns before offering his opinion and I knew we were on the right path. He worked with me for a week exploring options and was very patient and respectful in all communications and interactions with me. When I finally made my decision as to how I wanted to proceed, he fitted me into his schedule without an appointment for that day, even though I could see there were at least 3 other patients he was attending to. I cannot attach a dollar figure to this experience, but I can tell you his customer service skills are on par with his professional manner and it was priceless.

We were hesitant to make new appointments but gave this place the benefit of doubt. This time, I heard the exchange and the confrontational tone used during the call. We were placed on hold and hung up out of frustration and willing to tolerate this behavior. Dr Rubin is possible very nice and informative but the appointment staff needs could use some adjustments in regard to how to speak to clients.

I had been driving back from a trip for 10 hours with my contacts in and my eyes were red. Well, he would not even give me an eye exam or look at my eye, he said that I might have pink eye to see another eye doctor then come back. I told him I had been driving for 10 hours with my contact in and I don't wear then very often. Still he would not see me and was very rude. I went to my normal physician the very next day. He said that I DID NOT have pink eye. I went to another optometrist the same day to get my eyes examined. They treated me very well, very nice staff. The difference in night and day. There are other optometrists in the area, there are options, choose another one and take your money elsewhere as I did.
