She even catches a whole lot of things that the other specialists overlook, constantly. I know how ponderous and cumbersome reading reviews can get, but please know that Dr. Sarraf is the real deal. Her knowledge is fantastic and she knows how to relate her cardiology profession to the other interdisciplinary professions, thereby helping alleviate my symptoms. Since lupus attacks everything, this is incumbent. As a most recent example, she caught something that a primary care physician did wrong. PCP said my cholesterol was 'high', but Dr Sarraf said to completely disregard the lab values because the doctor "forgot" to have me fasting before drawing the labs. Simple things like that so many professionals carelessly miss! But not Dr. Sarraf! For once, at least I know I can relax a little knowing that this doctor will take care of me, not to mention her level of professionalism. Dr. Sarraf can be away on vacation, but she will still call me back the same day, and oftentimes right away! She is exceedingly accommodating, at the very least. I recommend Dr. Sarraf with no reservation. Keep up the great work! *Important: Regarding the online presence: Thankfully Dr Sarraf is excluded from this but regarding other offices, you must beware and take heed: **Review sites and doctors corroborate together to silence the consumer even more: When doctors pay Healthgrades, Vitals, etc. for a premium subscription, or just give them money in general, bribes, etc., as usual and as one example, they allow for doctors to hide 3 or more reviews that they arbitrarily dislike. Again, this is just one unethical tactic out of many they use. As a result, I truly applaud all those consumers who muster up the courage to write a review that is both truthful and that addresses the concerns of that doctor and its facility. There is always at least some validity in the negative reviews that are getting pummeled by bribes and bots and solicitations to get more positive reviews. Telling the truth is harder than choosing the path of least resistance and 'going with the flow'. Make no mistake about it, these providers are very savvy, so do not fall for all their deceitfulness. (Again, Dr. Sarraf excluded from here). Be wise and notice the slew of positive reviews- because they are being solicited constantly during and after appointments, to write five stars and people want to be welcomed into their office and would rather not voice the truths. In summary, I recommend Dr. Sarraf with no reservation. But please scrutinize other offices. Keep up the great work!

To my surprise, I was borderline for a heart attack. They say that Hypertension is the Silent killer. A third of Americans have it and do not know it, there are no symptoms, additionally my LDL were very high. Since my findings, I have been on 1 prescribed med, given recommended dietary guidelines and to increase some exercise. This treatment plan proved to be very effective and have continued to be monitored to be sure I am on track. As far as I am concerned, Dr. Wong saved my fat life. Dr. Wong is ahead of curve. He studied lipids related to heart disease before anyone else back in the 80's. I have tried treadmill testing, Plague review, Ultrasound tests, fat density testing and recently took a Calcium Plague test at UCLA medical center with a zero score, which is the best score to have. I highly recommend men and women to see Dr. Wong at least for a simple blood test for the biggest muscle in the body just for the Health of it.

My…read moreprimary care physician decided that I would need to have clearance from a cardiologist before they would clear me for surgery. However, surgery was just one week away! I contacted the office of a cardiologist who I had seen a few years ago and really liked to see if I could get an appointment. The office said that since it had been over three years since I had seen the doctor, I would be considered a new patient, and it would be a five month wait until I could get an appointment. What?!? I got in touch with my surgeon's office, and they referred me to Dr. Shervin Eshaghian at Beverly Hills Cardiology. Although the office is not close to where I live, I was desperate to find someone that could see me. I called the office on a Thursday afternoon and was helped by Amy. She was able to offer an appointment on Monday morning! I was very thankful that they would be able to fit me at such a last minute. The offices are located in Century City. The parking structure was very crowded, and I would recommend arriving at least 20 minutes ahead of an appointment to have time to park and get to the office. There is valet available and the valet attendants were very nice, and they worked very hard to accommodate everyone. The appointment went very well and everyone that I encountered was professional and great to work with. Evelyn A. took care of taking my vitals prior to seeing the doctor and she was very personable and made me feel very comfortable. Shortly after seeing her, Dr. Eshaghian started the exam. He learned about all the details of my upcoming surgery and was able to set me up with an echocardiogram on the spot. Chris conducted the echocardiogram and explained everything that was going on with the test. I have never had an echocardiographer provide so much information while having the test. When all was said and done, I was cleared for the surgery three days later. I was in the hospital for four nights. Each day, Dr. Eshaghian stopped by to check in on me, which I truly appreciated. He is very caring and going forward, I will gladly drive the extra distance to remain one of his patients.

When…read moreI ended up with breathing issues at his practice on dec 30, a day I thought it would be closed, I was sent directly to the hospital by his team. He was available on his day off to compare a new ultrasound at the hospital at 11 at night to a previous ultrasound at his practice. I needed open heart surgery and he got me the best surgeon in California to operate on me. He was every morning at 6 am at my hospital bed to check on me, to give instructions to the hospital team and stabilize my irregularity issues and complications with different combos of medications. After his morning rounds at the hospital he starts consultations with his patients at his practice at 8 am until 5. There is always somebody available 24/7 to answer a call for medical advice which I needed to do a few times. I got the best after care for follow ups at his practice. Dr. Shervin Eshaghian is an excellent doctor, compassionate, hard working, knowledgeable, always there for his patients, friendly, created a great support team and is a true life saver. I always felt through the hardest times that I was in great hands. I would not be here without him.

My family member has been a patient of Dr. Bagheri's for over three years now after he had…read morequadruple bypass surgery. Dr. Bagheri is very knowledgeable and is very thorough with his patients. When my family member was brought to the Emergency Department for a different cardiac issue Dr. Bagheri came the same evening to evaluate him and helped properly diagnose and treat him for his issues. When my family member first met Dr. Bagheri he was in a wheelchair due to being so weak from the surgeries he experienced. If it were not for Dr. Bagheri's due diligence I do not believe his heart would have gotten stronger. As of today he is out of the wheelchair and walks with a cane and we know a big part of that is because of Dr. Bagheri. I am not sure what Dr. Bagheri would do without Rosine and Mary who work at the Front Desk. Any time we need a procedure or test scheduled Mary and Rosine are very prompt returning and answering our calls. They treat us with compassion and dignity if we have any doubts or questions about treatments and medications. Unlike other doctor offices we have been to they do not ignore us when we wait in the waiting room and try to make our visit as comfortable as possible. They wear many hats at the office and make sure that Dr. Bagheri's patients are connected to the best resources and make time for us in case there is a concern that we can only address with Dr. Bagheri. They both care not only about their patients' wellbeing but Dr. Bagheri's and have restructured the office to make it safer for patients during COVID-19. They are a strong team who make time for their patients and would recommend them to every potential and future patient who need a Cardiologist.

This type of disorganization and poor communication is unacceptable, especially following a hospitalization for syncope. Over the past couple of years, the quality of service has gone downhill dramatically. It has become nearly impossible to get medications refilled in a timely manner. I've gone without my prescriptions multiple times--despite both myself and my pharmacy repeatedly contacting the office. This has even led to withdrawal symptoms due to their lack of response. At the same time, the office has introduced a "concierge service," which essentially means charging patients additional fees on top of already rising insurance premiums--yet the level of care and responsiveness has only gotten worse. Even Dr. Bhatia now seems more rushed and less attentive during visits. The front desk staff, unfortunately, are also extremely unhelpful and often rude. It's frustrating to deal with people who clearly don't want to be there or assist patients in any meaningful way. I'm truly disappointed to see a once-great practice decline so much. I hope the office takes this feedback seriously and makes real improvements.
