I had tried another office and was going to have to wait several months to get in! I have A LOT of anxiety about going to the dentist. Even a simple cleaning stresses me out so much but I honestly felt so understood and cared for from the moment I walked in! From the front office staff to my hygienist to Dr. Schaefer there was nothing but kindness, patience and NO DENTAL SHAMING! Thank you for understanding that I need to use the nitrous oxygen to get through the appointment and not making a big deal about it. It's can be hard to find a new dentist to trust when you move and I'm just thrilled to have found Dr. Schaefer and his outstanding staff!

They sent my pathology sample to Bellin, who contracts with a third party, Pathology Consultants of Green Bay. During this time, Bay Oral did not submit any of my insurance over to Pathology of Consultants. The cod they used was a medical code and not a dental one. I'm sent a full bill. I was told by Bay Oral's billing department that the client needs to figure it out and not them. I will NEVER return or recommend them. They also collect their "estimated" amount before even following through. I'm out $113 and waiting to hear back from my insurance to see if they will cover my visit.

Upon inspecting my teeth, my new dentist said that many of my fillings were done incorrectly and would lead to my molars splitting -- which is what was happening now. Staff gives conflicting answers on how this could be remedied, none of which are correct. The hygenist that I was assigned to, is not patient friendly. She complains that her shoulders ache because of the angle of the chair that is comfortable to me. When I contact the office and ask not to be scheduled with this hygenist, they reschedule the appointment to a later date but with this same hygenist. Appointments are hard to get, they clearly have the facility to serve more patients but it is under utilized. When I recently (in person) inquired if I had any outstanding payments and notified them to close my account, I was assured that it was taken care of. One month later they are renewing the supplemental dental insurance policy I purchased from them in the past. Ugggghhh.

My last exam I was told my tooth that had the ctown/ root canal, was infected. I was told they had been watching it for a few years!!!!! Watching it? Watching it what? Watching it get to the point of what? In those years, ive had nasal, spinal and orthopedic surgeries, when were they planning on telling me this? This could have lead to serious medical issues!!! I have been to 3 appointments and they have not touched my teeth once…read more they have set me up for 2 different appointments where my dentist didn't even know what we were doing that day, used all my benefits for appointments where they told me the same things over and over and never actually did anything. They also quoted me almost 6 times more than my old dentist for a treatment that was less effective. this place is an absolute disaster.
