Das Schloss is so big compared with other malls in the center of Berlin, but it got most the cool shops, it is quite nice place to shop. After the shopping, you could always visit their food corner to have a drink or have a meal, the place looks cool. The U-bahn station has a way directly take you inside the mall, you could also just take the bus to get here, there bus stop for this. For me, I think Das Schloss is a not bad place to do shopping. It is in nice location, got many things around. It's just a bit far for front the center, I don't really come here that often, only when I looking for some shops only here got or simply I close by. If I just want to shop, there are much closer, bigger, and better shopping malls around in the center of Berlin.

The way it's laid out, it seems quite small and intimate. But it's not - there are loads of shops here. It can get very busy on weekends. There are two different main entrances in this mall, one seem pretty boring, it make the mall just lack of personality. The other side which is near the Harry-Bresstau-Park. From there actually look pretty nice, I also like they interior design of the mall, it's really modern and simple. It has a really nice atmosphere here. For me, it seem to me actually not a bad place to shop at all. After that I could just sit here have a nice coffee and enjoy the nice atmosphere or just have a little walk inside the walk.

Usually when I'm looking for something special to light up the house, I do prefer Depot more, even their products are more expensive. This Depot is the biggest Depot shops I have seen so far in Berlin. It got two floors. The first floor just selling the small stuff, such as lights, plastic flowers and so on, decorations stuff, also decorations of upcoming festivals. All the big objects are in the basement, you can find tables, bed sheets, kitchen stuff and etc.. Right, there is also a room for everything which on sale. Pretty cool! Don't for get to check it out. There also got a lift between the ground floor and the basement for the people who needs. Really considerate. The service of this Depot is other plus point. Really friendly and helpful. They also offer free catalogs and booklets to help customers out. For me, I do like their style. The only thing get me down is the price. Well, they do have promotions time to time though. True, there were a lot of people on a weekday and there was an air of chaos, but I just avoided the crazed teenagers who were killing time after school as best I could. I didn't try on any of the clothes, so I can't speak to them. But I did get some accessories that were cute and incredibly cheap, like sunglasses, scarves, socks, and undies. I only hope that the quality is better than some people suggest, but time will tell. It would be nice if there was more than one Primark in Berlin, although I can eventually see that happening. Even so, the location in Steglitz is a good choice, as it's along a shopping street. I have heard rumors of ethical concerns, however, so I think I would like to read up on those before returning.

I always could find something interesting here, some of them are quite nice and particular. They actually offer lots of different style there, from sunny beach style to profession ties and suits. Plus the price is real cool. The quality of most of products here are good, but because of my experience, I do have some doubts with their shoes. If you got a limited budget, this is a great place to check it out. If you don't like the crowd, you could always come here after 19:30 in the weekdays. According my experience, that is the time in this place have less customers visit. The whole place become cleaner and more comfortable to shop. I like to come here time to time, they offer sometime very nice surprises.
