Awesome place for a variety of reasons. The Ranch is a great place to have an amazing dinner. The food is wonderful and the service provided has been exceptional every single time we've eaten there. The atmosphere is a no pressure, enjoy yourself, meet new people kind of place. We've been going there for years and there has been one time that an individual was not acting in an appropriate manner and he was very politely removed before anything took place and got out of hand. Pinball, pool tables, huge water slide during the summer, corn hole, volleyball, dancing, foam parties, cabanas, huge tent with a gas fireplace, lounging chairs outside with tables, a pole for those who want to try pole dancing, dance floor, and I haven't even gotten to the downstairs!!! Downstairs is comfortable and always clean. Anyone wanting to explore and see what's available and what options are possible are welcome to go downstairs. Respect and curtesy is always maintained. Watching or playing is always at the discretion of the participants. Curtains open, curtains closed, curtains partially open, shear curtains, or no curtains at all. You make the choice. And the events, dress up in glow attire, get your body painted, kink night with experts demonstration their particular specialty, foam parties, black tie so you can dress up, they are always having different themes. I have not attended in quite a while. I stopped in last night with my girlfriend as we met another girl from Facebook for dinner and all decided to play together. The Scarlet Ranch is as beautiful and clean as ever. Three women laying together usually draws too much attention at lesser adults clubs but people are high class at the Ranch and kind their own business. We started playing in the tee pee out back the headed downstairs together to play in a semi provosts room. We left the curtains open so others could watch us if they wanted to. It was an incredible evening of adult fun and worth every penny of my membership. I wish I could more detailed as I have so much to share but this is Yelp and not Penthouse. read more

We were soooooo looking forward to visiting this place on our first trip to Colorado and Red Rocks, what a disappointment. Scarlet Ranch - 2 Stars Red Rocks - 5 Stars The restaurant is good, it should be because this is used to be an old restaurant, but for the price of admission, the unfriendliness of the patrons, it's just not someplace we will return to when we visit Denver again. They rake in a lot of money, charging a hefty membership fee (they will consider us a new member, even though we will never come back ), then $40 a person for admission, with the number of events they host bragging about the number of people at each event, they're raking it in! The place is clean and well kept, but it's just not inviting and entertaining. Maybe we are too accustomed to Upper Midwest friendliness/hospitality, we did not find it here. It seemed more of a place to go for anonymous (consensual) casual sex, or if you are just 'sport-fuckers' needing a new hole to fill each weekend, and those are exactly the type of people we avoid because they give the lifestyle a bad name. We have friends who are not in the lifestyle, they are just nudists, they would not fit in here. We are in the lifestyle, but we have standards, we didn't fit in here either. They make a lot of money, that's the capitalist way, but they won't get any more of ours - too expensive for what little engaging entertainment they provide, there are many many other avenues to spend our money in Denver. if you like a lot of dead animal heads hung on the walls and country music, you might like this place more than we did. Our first time to Colorado, the Scarlet Ranch, and Red Rocks. Only one is worth going back to, and that is Red Rocks! It's worth the price of a concert (Scarlet Ranch is not - VERY expensive), the people there are friendly (not at the Scarlet Ranch), and we didn't see any rats (we saw one at the Scarlet Ranch). Don't get us wrong, the Scarlet Ranch is a nice place, but it's a converted steakhouse, they don't have a lot of engaging activities, the people are very cliquish, if you like a lot of dead animal heads hung on the walls, and country music, you might fit in much better than we did. Won't be going back, will drive right on past looking for a more fun/friendly/engaging place. read more

This place is what you make it, if you're local wait until the cooler months because during the summer it's disgustingly hot because the owner won't turn the AC on to save money, he'll say it's to make people take their clothes off but it's a ruse. Lot of people attend that aren't lifestyle and want to dress up, lots of really old nasty people on any day except on a Saturday. It's very clickish, so if you're not attractive bring friends to hang out with because you'll get ignored. Dress well, guys should wear a button down but dress as you want in order to give the best impression of yourself. This is not a sex club, it's a lifestyle community club and 95% of the people are not looking for anything except to have a good time with friends or partner. Service was horrible me and my wife went in and immediately fell disappeared by the lady at the front desk she immediately gave me hassle about me wearing a hat. So I took it off to accommodate filled out all the paperwork and paid $200 I put my hat on for a second for her to put my wrist band on and she threw a fit calling security and a manager I tried to explain I was just putting it on for a second but all the stuff was very rude and didn't even give me a chance to explain or remove my hat. Came to the Squirrel Creek Lodge for a day time wild life animal fundraising event. Vanilla review this time :) Kenneth used to be heavily involved into wildlife conservancy, so I believe that's what prompted him to offer up his venue for this fundraiser. The grounds are beautiful, and everything looked clean and well maintained. They also provided light fare for the event (quesadillas, tacos, veggies and cold cut platters) and everything was fresh and delcious. We enjoyed playing with the many games, from shuffle board to ping pong, during the day and the gardens were just wonderful to enjoy the warm weather in. read more

Having been to several Lifestyle clubs and resorts in different states, you won't find a more upscale, genuine, welcoming environment. After only a couple of years as Gold members we took the plunge and became Platinum lifetime members. We have made some incredible friends and love the casual atmosphere of a Sunday Funday. The outdoor area is beautiful. There is no place to wash yourself. The music sucks. For the price they charge per person the DJ should be amazing. Trying to call for hours to find out about the Halloween party since it's saying to pay in advance and it's just busy. This place could be the most amazing if they put some showers , hire a GOOD dj and have a better website where you can purchase the tickets. If that changes I will definitely change my review. Well, how does one start a review for a place few people have the juevos to admit they ever step foot in? How about this... Scarlet Ranch is a swing club. A damned fine swing club. In fact I've only been to one that was comparable and it was a 30,000 sq ft Mansion out in the Redwoods of Washington State. But don't take my word for it. Almost any night you go you will find visting Polys (Polyamorous) and or Swingers from abroad with their eyes wide and mouths upturned impressed by the size, class, and quality not only of the club itself, but also of the peeps attending it. The owner of the Scarlet Ranch has been lifestyle for .... *ever* I think and has seen this club grow from a private get together at a friend's house (if I recall the stories correctly) in Evergreen to two other locations before coming to rest in what used to be a massive restaurant in the outskirts of Highlands Ranch. The Ranch resembles a giant log cabin replete with two full bars (bring your own booze!!!!!!) two pool tables, dance floor, dining room, complete kitchen, stripper pole, live band stage, DJ setup, sizable fenced "backyard" with netted gazebos, an outdoor dance floor, hot tub, BIG Tee-Pee (complete with flat screen TV, beds, and fireplace), a downstairs with public and private play areas, a shower, and adult play apparatuses. Whew. The crowd here in svelte Colorado is younger on average than Swing Sets from other Cities (I am often told from visitors) and ranges from late 20s to late 40s on average. The Ranch has regular theme parties and now includes monthly Fetish nights featuring alternative lifestyle genres that run up against and sometime intertwine with the "Swing Set". For those not familiar with Swinging, I won't go into a huge explanation, but suffice it to say, Scarlet Ranch epitomizes the best of the lifestyle. People are clean, polite, and understand that hitting a swing club is about having fun in an open-minded environment, not "getting laid" so no worries about creepers stalking and pressuring people into things. Personally me and mine go to the Ranch for a laid back, open-minded place to eat, drink, chill, and dance... and sometimes, just sometimes we stay for the extra-curriculars ;) read more

Scarlet Ranch is aesthetically one of the most luxurious places we've seen, however, the people are a much different issue. We've been to play clubs all over the world and have never seen such cold, emotionally and physically detached and uninterested group we've ever witnessed. We've never seen lifestyle people sitting at the bar with beautiful women walking by practically naked and no one even as much as turns their head or flirts. We don't get it. In fact, D.P another patron, and others have commented on the same issues. The club is too big for intimacy. The best experiences we've had come from smaller venues. I went here the other night with my gf. I'm 32 and she's 25. It was one of the best nights of my life...And I've been to quite a few swinger clubs. Most of this one is outdoors with open cabanas that are amazing when the weather is nice. Everything was clean and I'd say that most people were in their 30s-50s. My girl is a little younger but we had no problem finding attractive people to have fun with. The only bad thing I could think of are the single males, man they can be equal parts pushy and creepy. Had to tell a guy, that was probably in his 60s not to touch my gf twice. There weren't very many single males though out if the whole crowd. read more

Fire and Ice Party. 01/23/17. Hot crowd, but not a friendly crowd. Hot sex, but not sure it was hotter than sex at home. There from 10:00 to 1:30. Couldn't even make eye contact, much less meet Anyone. We didn't meet a single person. We had great sex with each other. Lots of voyeurs. Again, no friends, no joiners, just voyeurs. Two problems with our experience: First, we arrived too late to meet Anyone. Ten is too late. Groups have been set. We were stunned by how closed off everyone was. Second, there was supposed entertainment. The scarlet ranch encourages employees to pretend that they have talents that should be displayed. The Fire and Ice show was embarrassing, amateurish, shitty and not hot or attractive. Unnecessary distraction that just took the wind out of everyone involved. We'll be back because now we're pissed and sure that it can be great, we just haven't made it great yet. Oh, and the electronic music featured by the DJ sucked ass, kept the dance floor lonely and drove 85% of clientele off the dance floor. The DJ gets zero stars. read more

If you don't want to read my whole review the synopsis is "lose the creepy single guys and enforce a dress code" We were First timers last night for the 50 Shades of Gray Party. We show up at door and are thinking are we at a sports bar by mistake? 90% of the guys are in jeans or cargo shorts. The wife is in a bustier and I'm in latex. We are in theme and feel totally out of place. Ever been to a Haloween party and most people don't bother to dress up? You feel ripped off that you made the effort, people get to check you but there are no costumes for you to look at. Yeah that's how we felt We pay our $180 and start exploring. The premises are really cool! Bar and restaurant upstairs and play rooms down stairs. Outside are more play beds and a great tipi with a fire inside. Love it! The website claims the number of single guys is managed. Well the manager was not on their game last night. They were everywhere. Every time people started to play they were two feet from the action. No way the wife was going to get naked with that creep fest ready to ogle. There are play beds with privacy curtains but we saw guys just open them up to see what was going on. Everybody we talked to was super cool. Wide range of ages but mostly 30's and 40's. In general most people were in shape. Staff were all cool. How to make it better? 1) Manage the single guys. They pay $200 each so the club made $3-4k from them last night. They aren't going to ban them. They could have couples only nights. They could do what Trapeze in Atlanta does. They have couples only sections. 2) make a no jeans or shorts rule. The current rule is no old jeans. Well that means a guy could have a $30 pair or a $300 pair. Weak. Force them to make an effort. 3) have a no clothes allowed area. Or towels or lingerie only. It's way less creepy to play if the people watching you are naked too So would we go back? Not as it is now. We don't mind paying the dough but we will never play there till the creepiness goes away. It's a shame because the premises are freaking awesome. read more

Seems like the place is evolving into a Latin club, so if you like Latin music then you will probably give it a 5 star. We went for the first time last week to try the foam party and dance. The foam was awesome, however the music was almost all Latin music and almost no one dances to it. The DJ seemed to play whatever he wanted and seems to ignore the crowd almost entirely. The amenities were great, the food outstanding but can't get past the music and the way the DJ just ignored the people who wanted something better. Can't understand! Don't waste your time. It took forever to get in because their computers were down. Really lame and not very many people there.

Been there twice on Sundays so far and it was a great experience. The owners are great and very nice. It's possible to feel very comfortable there. If you are just getting used to being there, play pool, skinny dip in the hot tub, cuddle on the couches, or watch the tvs (80s porn with a bunch of women? who knows), drink, play ping pong, or people watch. If you are into more, there are beds downstairs, both open and others with curtains, ... you can do things with your own partner you brought or explore to your level of comfort with others. Couples in their 20s and 30s get special discounted pricing on Friday nights ($20 for people in their 20s, $30 for people in their 30s). Thursdays are free for women. Some days are less expensive than others. Typically cheaper if you go as a couple, so bring your partner or find someone open-minded who wants to check it out too. read more

We asked about it and first being told that there are no cameras,then that those are not on,when we asked to talk to manager we've been said that there is no manager there. After manager finally came,she said that yes,those are cameras but they are there for our own security... we felt super uncomfortable that everything is being recorded,so we left.
