I like visiting Scanlan on Lt Collins to see the beautiful clothes and touch the luscious fabrics. Sales can be really good, especially for accessories. When you're clearly on a buying mission and catch the eye of the staff, you can also get some great fashion advice. However, I find the change rooms really confronting at this store - i.e. there is no mirror in the change rooms, so you have to use a communal mirror in front of everyone. For this reason, I prefer to go to DJs a block away, where I can try Scanlan on in a proper, personal change room. I also find the staff to be a bit impersonal (but nicely dressed), which can be an advantage as much as a disadvantage if you don't like to be interfered with while thumbing through the racks. read more
