As a practitioner I don't recommend multiple interventions to my clients because it is important to measure the effectiveness of one. The office was very chaotic. I associate wellness with calmness. I don't know if I have ever experienced anything like this before. I lost valuable time from my work and being in pain did not help the matter. I believe in the practice of efficiency and respect when dealing with clients. The wellness center is lacking in both areas. I am a researcher and practitioner who is not sold on anything offered in the moment. The push to sell me something I was told about a minute in my conversation with Dr. Derek was alarming. My decision making process is not impulsive. It is aligned to the best practices supported by research. I also have excellent insurance. Prior to my visit I confirmed what my insurance would pay for because of my medical history only for Dr. Derek to add it to the $6000 treatment package. I did not accept the package.
