I'm all for transparency and helping others when it comes to consumer affairs. I hate it when consumers are taken advantage of. That being said, we hired Stacey Rasco(Stacey's Beyond Beautiful) to do the decor for our reception. Not only did we pay her for her services, we paid her an additional $700 for extra items. We did not get our extra items. Our flowers looked like they were from Salvation Army. Obviously recycled. The "trees" that we were promised (cherry blossoms) were actually those white trees from Hobby Lobby. The fresh rose petals (that were required by our venue) were the tops torn off a fake flower stem (yes the entire flower bulb-no petals). No boutonnières. No flower girl baskets ( they were bags) and my bouquets were obviously used. No corsages for the mothers. But she boasts about specializing in florals. No gift table. No signs. No memorial table. Blue table cloths for an ivory wedding with blue no where in the design. No favors. No menu or thank you cards. No drapes, all of which was paid for months ago. No apology or acknowledgment of HER wrong.
I could go on but you get the picture. $5700 gone and this person could care less. She's a liar and a thief. We booked her based on her work, which is normally good. I'm not sure why she chose to use some that should've been thrown away. Oh and the best part....she refused to refund us for the items we paid extra for but she didn't provide. I've heard that she's the "preferred" decorator of a venue in Ridgeland MS. I have told and will continue to tell everyone not to do business with her. Book her at your own risk. read more
