Unfortunately, we forgot to take a carpet sample and returned the next day to purchase. Again, not a soul in the store but the saleswoman, Leah, told us Michael, our salesman, was out of town and we would have to come back. Because we don't live close to the store, we requested Leah assist us and she very reluctantly did so and it was obvious she didn't want to. I never heard of a business where salespeople won't help each other or the customer. The measurement appointment was set for two days hence and took 2 minutes. I called the next day for installment info and Michael told me he hadn't heard from the measurement guy who was busy doing other measurements and he would let me know when he heard from him. It's an order for a simple square room, for carpet and pad that is in stock. They couldn't call the guy? It's been 6 days and no word from anyone. I guess that transaction doesn't generate enough commission to warrant the sale and that's too bad, because we're doing our whole house.

Obviously I'm not the only one with a bad experience with them. Manager lied to me, took almost 6 months to get all the countertops in and the final one came in cracked! And they offered me a 10% discount! I laughed and they came back with giving me the "cracked" piece for free! The installer was incredible, it's tough to see the crack. But the manager seems to be patting himself on the back for giving me that cracked piece after 6 months. BTW, did I mention he lied to me. The name "DIRT CHEAP" had me interested This place is easy to locate and has plenty of parking available for patrons. Walking in it looks like a warehouses. Up front you will find bigger items like appliances ( most are damaged) modern bath tubs, and seasonal items( think Christmas trees for the current season). Other items throughout the store vary from siding, flooring, doors to light fixtures. The store basically carries an array of home improvement items.
