Pimmies pies - mmmm. Reason enough to go in here me thinks. My mate goes in and buys a few pies and…read morea pack of buns and puts the pies in a bun and eats them - eewwww. Anyway, the place is great if your after a pie. They don't match up to greggs/sayers however once you look at the other products they have. The sausage rolls are small and they never have any good offers on like 3 for £1 etc. I go in the place for a pie quite often and usually get a drink as well. The shop has a butchers kind of feel to it even though it is a bakery. All the products are cooked fresh but they are maybe a little over priced. Nice, helpful staff which usually consist of older women, all wearing their health and safety gloves when handling the food etc, which is good to see. If you like pies, I would recommend, otherwise go elsewhere.

Mmm, john pimbletts is one of the best pie shops in sthelens…read more Theres always a wide range of pies/pastys/cakes/sandwichs to choose from all at great prices. This shop is based in the middle of sthelens, but closer to the night light of sthelens and hidden away from most big retail stores which is abit of a let down but still easy to get to and close to a subway. They offer great meal deals most days. The shop is always clean and the staff are always lovely and plesent. The food can be pricey depending on what you buy but its extreamly tasty and good value for money. The shop can be quite busy at times but thts cause the food is delisious and only sthelens has a pimblets pie shop. Staff always wear ther health ans hygiene things (gloves hair nets etc) which is nice to see when handling your food

I have never been ill after eating from this place but I would prefer if my food was cooked properly. The staff are pleasant and each time I go in they always have their gloves on when handling food, which is nice to see. They do seem to have been trained well in handling food which is a nice change to how some of the shops in St. Helens deal with food handling. The prices are competitive with sayers and greggs and they even beat the other two sometimes with their special offers on pies and pasties, sausage rolls etc. Its definitely worth nipping in and getting something from here if you are hungry whilst out and about around St. Helens, just make sure your food is cooked and warm - as it doesnt always seem to be from here.

The prices are competative with other pie/pasty stores in sthelens and the staff are always dressed well and very plesent. The staff always wear hair nets and always wear gloves when handleing food which is nice to see they have a good hygiene record. They sell a wide range of pasty/pies/sandwichs etc. and pastry is lovely. I would recomend this shop to anyone who wants to grab a quick bite to eat as there food is always cooked to a high standard and its very nice.
