Only the owner Jeff and his wife were there when we popped in, and both were very friendly. With a limited menu, we ordered a supreme pizza, my cousin ordered a pot pie. All the food was frozen meal type food but it filled our belly and hit the spot after a day driving in the middle of nowhere! I also ordered an Irish coffee which came in a coffee mug and wasn't exactly traditional, but still tasted good. Drinks and food all pretty standard fair, however I give it four stars because it was real fun chatting with Jeff and it was a good time had with limited options. Also, I appreciate the quirkiness of the bar with dollar bills on the ceiling and the silly signs hanging on the wall. Definitely go for a cold one and the character.

Very Clean, rustic but has Updated motel rooms with mini fridge and new beds. Very nice mini soaps. Great staff and service with a cool, well stocked bar, all stuffed full of taxidermy, rocks, and historic bric a brac. Note: The Breakfast burritos were fantastic! Loaded then a nice char on the outside, yum! Coffee kept flowing, I loved it soo much. We took a walk on the airstrip to stretch our legs after a long day of driving. We will drive this stretch again just to pop in here. (they serve local alvord range beef burgers that I need to try next time!) Great hospitality along a very deserted, almost scary how empty stretch of highway.

Or server Tiara, killed it and totally took care of us and all the other customers in the restaurant as well as the bar. Alex, the cook kicked it up a notch and pounded out amazing food. Only two of the nine of us had the same meal. We will definitely be back and looking forward to it. I had the portobello mushroom burger (wait with a population of 36 they have a portobello mushroom burger?) And it was really , really good! My wife had the Taco salad and really appreciated the details like thinly sliced bell peppers, baby green, great tasting meat and a fresh tortilla bowl. Everyone in our party really enjoyed their meals and especially enjoyed the time we had.
