I'm new to the podcast game and I stumbled across Resonate through a blog that raved about the work…read morethey do. I was already paying a different editor but thought maybe I should try someone else to see what's out there. Even better, Resonate was touting a FREE TRIAL so I didn't see the harm, but I was willing to pay if FREE TRIAL meant more time. Resonate is very big on their website with letting potential customers know they have a 72-hour turnaround time. My first impression of Resonate was very positive. They have a very modern and seemingly user-friendly website that allows customers to upload their podcast content for editing. You can even communicate directly on the page associated with your work "in progress." I uploaded my materials on a Thursday just after midnight. I included a message that I needed this timely and I found their form regarding the trial confusing, so if trial meant more time please reach out and explain it to me and I'd be happy to pay and be a paying customer. Thursday came and went. On Friday, I deleted my message I sent them originally and sent a new one thinking maybe there was something wrong with their portal or they're just incredibly slow. A short time later someone finally responded. This started an email exchange that didn't end until Monday, and I will not be doing business with Resonate. It's frustrating when you communicate with a business and the stance they take throughout is, "the customer is wrong". In all their very slow responses to my replies they offered me no solution to fix the issue and very much made me feel that because I wasn't a "paying customer" at the beginning, my future business isn't given much thought. Even more frustrating, they completely just glossed over me saying I was willing to pay. If after the first e-mail they had just apologized and given me a solution to fix it, even with a price tag, I would have paid, this would have been resolved and they'd have a client. I can't speak much for their product, but I can say their customer service requires some fine-tuning. They lost out on a client.

They made the process of starting a new podcast easy and continue to be wonderful to work with now that our podcast is up and running. They are very responsive to questions and have never hesitated to hop on a quick call to discuss if that's what we needed. Their advice has been so helpful and they've taken the guesswork out of the podcasting process for us. I highly recommend working with Resonate!
