Employees are polite and cordial. The only reason a four star is the seats are not very comfortable.

Cute little theatre with a nice staff. Never crowded and on the inexpensive side as far as going to the movie theater is concerned.

Much cheaper to see a movie at Sawmill then in the valley. But The theater is rundown, seating totally shot. No other choice in Payson.

This movie theater was extremely fun to go to to see a movie. Not only is getting the tickets and…read morebeing able to pick your seat an easy thing to do, but it's more fun once you get inside and can set up your seat as comfy as you'd like. You can adjust it however you'd like and make it so you can put your feet up. The parking lot is also pretty spacious so there should always be plenty of parking and the theater has plenty of good films to choose from. However, if you come here at night be very cautious in the parking lot as it can be pretty dark and it's easy to get lost too if you don't know where you parked. But I would still recommend going to this theater to watch any movie that is currently showing. Give it a shot.

The price for two adults, for a 3 D movie, was 24.38. We purchased a large tub of popcorn ( which was delicious), a bottle of water and a large soda. The total was $22.95. The chairs are large, comfy and recline. The aisles are very wide so no one is banging your knees when they enter or exit. Quite a few handicap seats were available and provided the same comfort. As with all theaters the sound is loud so if you are sensitive ( like myself) bring ear plugs. The theater was the same temp as most others I have attended. If you tend to be on the colder side bring a comfy blanket or a coat. Lots of parking!

Many years ago this theater had wonderful, friendly employees but no longer. I decided to treat…read moremyself on August 28th for my birthday. It was the last day the theater was showing Nobody 2. I arrived a bit earlier than I expected and the man at the window informed me that I was early which wasn't a big deal. I figured I would go across the street to browse in a store. I was in the Knotty Fox for a little bit and came back across the street and noticed most of the workers were outside chit-chatting. I went inside and had my mouth set on a hot dog since I hadn't yet eaten. I was informed that they couldn't make anymore hot dogs because it would take 40 minutes before they would be ready. I had worked at the theater many years ago and unless the hot dog roller is on the fritz it does not take 40 minutes. Essentially the workers did not want to clean the machine again. So I settled for the nachos with extra cheese and jalapenos. What I received was a paper plate full of stale nachos, old looking cheese and my jalapenos. They need to bring people's food to the end where the wall is located because it was extremely inconvenient to try and get straws and napkins with other patrons reaching over trying to get their food as well. I will have to say one of the ladies was nice and helped me get more napkins when they became pushed down in the holder. It's a shame the customer service and the food has gone downhill. The theater used to be such a nice place to attend.

Management could definitely use some improvement. Would give it zero stars if I could. Save your…read moremoney and take a trip to the valley if you could.
