And the bonus? Most of the time they are still warm on the bottom. Just the apple. The other flavors must be made elsewhere because the crust is not the same. No, I'm not a fan of that other place, just not impressed. More impressed with a place way further up county but it doesn't matter. Westchester Greenhouse makes the best Apple Pie. Yes, I have busted into this pie in the car many times. Forks ready. The pie is still hot, folks. Seasonally, the apple cider donuts are the best anywhere. Yes, better than That place. And that other one up there with the mazes, and bouncy houses and things you don't want or need or have to pay extra to walk on their property. Donuts. That's what that line is about. It moves fast. They hand you the box in the line, they are hot. And with more apple cider taste than those other places too. Apple pie and apple cider donuts. Oh and Wave Hill breads if you can't make it to the farmers markets. Everything else is a plus. Plants. Produce. Wreaths. It's all good. I should buy raspberries from them and tell them to make be a custom raspberry pie with that crust they have on their Apple.

Recently moved into the area from White Plains, was a bit sad that we were no longer close to…read moreHmart, Trader Joe's, or Whole Foods where we normally go. CTown down the block has horrible quality vegetables and produce, it was so bad that they were selling veggies and fruits with mold all over everything. Then we stumbled by this hidden gem, literally a 4 min walk away! Saw it was bustling with customers so we checked it out and was surprised how fresh and tidy everything was. Also super thrilled that MOST items are package free!! Which means we won't have to buy pre-packaged foods in bulk which tend to go to waste when we can't use all of it. And yes if you bring your own mesh bags that's a double whammy - great for the environment + less waste and plastic trash The meat section is also package free (order at the counter your preferred cuts/amount) and everything was tidy and neat. They had some meats that elsewhere doesn't carry - like pork neck, or thicker/yellow skinned chicken which we like to use for Asian dishes (not even Hmart had these). And they also had a deli meat/cheese counter. And I'm sure you can ask for specific cuts for dogs if you feed raw. Oh and lastly, prices are amazingly affordable. Of course you're not going to have a grand selection of items that you'd find at a big super, also there's no seafood section. But this is more than enough for basic grocery shopping, and everything is so fresh. More than happy to pay cash and support this small business that's doing everything right. Cashier was also very cordial and polite Not the exhausted/unhappy kind you find at typical big supermarkets.

They don't take credit cards just checks and cash. Bring your own bags for your veggies. Although they have a butcher who prepares fresh meat to order, I have never purchased their meal. They also sell a plethora of Spanish foods, spices, and canned goods that you can't find in regular grocery stores.
