I purchased my wedding gown from Beverly and was provided with personable and down-to-earth…read moreservice. As I had already been to many bridal shops I knew exactly what dress I was looking for and called Beverly to see if she had the dress available to try on. To my surprise (I had called several shops within the State College radius) she had just received the dress in from the designer and made an appointment with me. My family and friends lived across the country from me so when I arrived to Beverly's shop it was just me. Beverly graciously helped me try on the gown, gave me an honest opinion and made me feel like family. In addition, Beverly saved me and my friend quite a bit of money. I was worried about the cost of shipping the dress home for the wedding so I called a bridal location (Charlottes Weddings & More) closer to home where I had previously tried gowns on. I explained the situation to an associate and let them know of the gown and size I wanted. They quoted me $250 more for the gown than Beverly had quoted me. I recommended Beverly's Touch of Class to a friend as she had a similar situation in which she knew her dress and size desired. Beverly also gave her a price that was less than the price quoted by Diamonds & Lace in State College where she tried the gown on. If you're looking for a low key and causal experience to try on dresses, Beverly's Touch of Class is worth the drive. Give back to small businesses like Beverly when you can, the experience will be a wonderful memory.

During the few weeks I waited, nothing was available, but they do have new appliances available all the time. It can be difficult to find a matching set since they have a good selection, but very few of each available at a time. They offer delivery for a small fee. I ended up buying my set at another place, but I would definitely consider this place for future purchases. My wife liked the features of the models we looked at here the best. The best price was in Altoona 35 miles away, but by the time I included the delivery charge it was a wash. A few years after installation we received a letter from the manufacturer of our microwave alerting us to a problem that could result in a fire. The instructions said to unplug it immediately and contact our dealer. I called and talked to Mr. McGee the owner and was pleasantly surprised to hear that not only was he very knowledgeable about the problem, but that he also had the parts in stock and could fix it immediately. One day later my repairs were completed and at no charge. Last Thursday my wife said the ice maker was not making full size cubes. I once again called to have a technician repair it. I talked to one of the service personnel who while writing up the service order ask me when we changed the filter last. I told him I wasn't sure to which he replied "I would try replacing that before we come out". I went into the store and picked one up that day. Problem solved. This saved me the price of a service call. Now that's service! I won't go anywhere else. Responsive, dependable, and honest. It just doesn't get any better than that.
