I found Veterans Rebuilding Life (VRL) on Google and its been an amazing experience. They are very respectful and understand the trials of a military veteran in regards to the time consuming process of applying for Veterans Affairs (VA) resources and services. I was able to get some emergency food, clean clothes, socks, hygiene products as well as opportunity to work gigs to make money through Veterans Rebuilding Life (VRL) non-profit's huge list of supporters. I feel blessed to have stumbled on this non-profit that really does what they say to change the narrative of how veterans are being treated in this country. If your a person who's interested in donating to a non-profit that really gets to the root of the problem and provides a solution think of VeteransRebuildingLife.org they can use your donations to help more veterans like myself get on their feet. Thank you so much VRL!

I picked up my sister's ashes today and was met at the door by Chris Gee; he was as pleasant and…read morepersonable as he'd been during my very first meeting with him, and throughout the several times I had to meet or call for assistance. The process of cremation was new to both me and my youngest sister who was with me. Chris called Connecticut Hospice and arranged to transport my sister's body, even before we got to the facility. Once we arrived, he was patient and kind each time he explained something to us. He promptly returned each and every call I made to him. Our situation was unusual in that while my youngest sister and I were doing the planning of our loved one's service and cremation, she had left the insurance to two other relatives. Thus, Chris had to meet (at different times) with each of them, as well. He treated them with the same professionalism and genuine kindness that he showed my sister and me. Once arrangements were worked out; he was even understanding of my attention to every detail, and accommodated even the smallest request, such as making my deceased sister's eyebrows darker. In addition, she died with a terrible protrusion to her lower lip and I was very disturbed by it, but Chris assured me that they would be able to fix it, and they did; her lips looked just like they did when she was alive. And the makeup was perfect (excluding the eyebrows), and natural looking. Even during the service, when my hospitalized daughter asked us to see if she could Zoom into the service, Chris worked to make sure that she could. The only problem was the microphones, and today, when I visited, he had a guy working on that, just as I expected he would. He made a very difficult time so much easier for all four family member who met with him. His professionalism, amiableness, kindness, and understanding are very much appreciative. I recommend this place to all who are looking for someone warm like him, and for a spacious, spotless, and beautiful environment for their loved one's homegoing services, all at a highly reasonable cost.

Heartless funeral director at this location. Insisted on charging more than a mother could afford…read moreto bury her baby. Actually laughed at how much a nonprofit organization was willing to pay to help with the cost and said that the mother would just have to cremate "it". Taking decisions away from a mother who has already just had her world crushed. Just leave dead babies and their loss parents alone. Clearly out just to make a buck without a care. Wrong line of work for that.
