Spinx station was very clean and offered Ethanol free gas along with bio fuels. My appraisal of the…read morecar wash is far less complimentary. I opted for the standard $10 wash and could have done better with the squeegee by the gas pumps. Yes, they offered two other options ( for 5 and 10 dollars more) but I can't imagine anyone being satisfied with the $10 wash and wonder why it's offered. Complimentary vacumn service gets them a second star.

I went through far faster than any of my previous times... well, it didn't get my car clean; and I don't mean little places here and there, but large swaths weren't clean. I complained to the office. They sent a guy out. He had already credited me $25 for the wash. I showed him the dirty door panels, etc on my car. I asked if I was just imagining going through the wash faster? He said no. He told me the owners had them speed up the line during pollen season bc so many of the monthly subscribers were using it. He asked the owners if he could dial it back down over summer to the normal speed and he was told no, leave it as is and if anyone complains just credit them for their wash. Update: The owner contacted me. He said they had changed out some of their equipment. Invited me to come back for a complimentary car wash. I got the wash. It was better this time. It Was glad the owner did contact me to ask about my experience and offer me a freebie.

Not only were there extremely minimal spots of dirtiness left on my car after the wash, which is typical in these types of operations, but my wheels look great and the tire shine looks just as good. The entire staff was attentive, smiling and very helpful they showed me the amenities and features available after the wash for me to detail. This is not just another car wash. This is THE car wash. Fuel stop for the bus before heading to the mountains in North Carolina, I was unsure of the open…read morebusiness situation at our destination since much of the area was still in recovery from last years hurricane Helene so I wanted to top off the tank. Unfortunately this place was backed up at the big rig fuel islands but everyone followed the trucker's protocols so the line moved fairly quickly. The staff at the fuel counter were friendly and professional, I over estimated the gallons I needed to pump just to ensure my tank was completed filled which required a second trip inside to get my actual receipt. Looking at the condition of the fuel islands it shows how busy this stop is, the pump lanes could use a good pressure washing and the paper towel holder and hand sanitizer dispensers needed some attention, it was nice to see the bug sponges were new and the buckets were filled with soapy water. I would return if and when I'm back in the area, the entrance and exit drives were well marked and provided easy access to and from the interstate..l
