This is the worst grocery store I have ever had the pleasure of shopping as well. Its always crowded with hardly any registers open and the kids always seem to be on break. I wish Publix would open a store near us. Kroger has turned into nothing but a joke for grocery stores anymore.

The young man that runs the store is a distant relative of Loretta Lynn. But for folks in this community this store is one of the only stores within many miles of their home. He has a few Loretta Lynn's souvenirs such as t-shirts and magnets. But there is also canned goods, soda, and water for sale. The store is very old and was a railroad company store when it was originally built. I believe he told me it was around a 125 years old. He has done a great job of keeping this place up as it did not have that old smell that you find in a lot of places. Of course you will also find a ton of Loretta Lynn memorabilia throughout the store as well as other older relics of times past, such as an old Pepsi clock, soda bottles and signs. It was a quaint old store that takes you back to simple yet tough times for many Americans in the late 1800s to early 1900's. I loved it!

Front of store you have the Cost Cutters hair salon, customer care, bathrooms and eye center along with full vision screening. Right side you have garden center, pharmacy and beauty care, pet supply, toys, jewelry, electronics and crafts. Back of the store you have sporting goods, auto care (no garage), more house ware and paints. Then of course in the center you have clothing and shoes. This one does not sell tires but does sell car batteries and supplies. It also does not have a Murphey's USA but there is an Exxon. This also has a hot food center at the start of the grocery area and fresh bakery. It is my go too. Next door to it is also a Save-a-Lot.

This is 9:30 pm and I was refused access to the garden center; specifically to view the live plants and flowers that are in the outdoor cage--from the inside of the store. I am Highly disappointed. I am disabled; it takes a lot for me to get all the way to that corner of the store and for nothing.

The mt sterling Walmart has no drive through window for pharmacy pickup…read more The powered carts are not charged . No pharmacy technician can carry medication to the grocery pickup area . When I do find a disabled parking site, I can use a cane to the store. But I hurt and am too weak to stand in line at the pharmacy window in a long line. And there is no other way to pick up medication. I asked them to transfer the prescription to the Stanton Walmart where there is a drive through window but they refused to do so.
