I personally thought some of the books were priced too high for their condition, but they were fun and interesting to look through. The shop is relatively small, but its layout has lots of little nooks and crannies that make it easy to explore for a good amount of time. Cozy, in a good way. There are lots of trinkets and dishware, and I was able secure several pieces of a collection for a good price! The lady who rang me up and talked with me most was very knowledgeable and kind. One star off just for some of the pricing and because I was charged an extra $10. The math is done by hand, and I trust it was an honest mistake, though. I didn't notice at the moment, but I trust they would have refunded me if I went back. I'll definitely be back and recommend!

Denise (who owns the shop) always has a way of putting a smile on my face she's A real go-getter and has a way of breathing life into our little part of the world. A couple times of year she hosts events downtown filling the street and surrounding areas with antiques, artisans and neighbors. I did see a freight elevator so I don't know if they would take somebody up in the freight elevator if they can't do the steps but even if you only did the first floor that's quite a bit of antique shopping. I always keep a running list of items friends or relatives are looking for and on this occasion I found one. Way up on a shelf was a metal dollhouse that one of my friends were looking for. It was also on sale so that was great. The pictures tell the story so have a look and you may find something that you like but if you do you better hurry you never know how long something will sit in a thrift or antique shop! Oh I will say they have an interesting way to check you out where they write the items in a particular receipt pad for that person's shop so you might not wait, like we did, until the end when everybody is lining up to get out of there because that process does take a little bit of time.

When you enter it looks like a weird antique store or flea market but if you wander into the back room you're rewarded with a pretty large selection of several thousand records. The selection is heavily weighted toward classic rock, but there are also substantial selections of jazz, soul/R&B, gospel, country and hip-hop. I noticed also some eight tracks and CDs in the back, as well as some stereo gear that was presumably for sale. There's not much of a new selection, but there was plenty to keep my occupied. The place was pretty chilly though I was fine in my jacket, assume it would be quite expensive to keep it heated! The front room was a smorgasbord of typical antique store fare with trinkets, furniture, books etc. Definitely worth a stop when you're in town.
