As I walked around this store, I thought that the shelves were well stocked and organized. I saw products such as holiday and party decorations, greeting cards, office supplies, craft supplies, cleaning products, health and beauty products, foods and beverages, kitchenware, home decor, pet supplies, etcetera. Some products were from name brands (e.g., Sharpie, Crayola, Meow Mix, Colgate, Tom's, Campbell's, and Kraft), and other products were from generic brands. Most products cost $1.25, but some cost more, and even gift cards of up to $100 for other retailers (e.g., Ulta, Home Depot, and Netflix) were available. Some prices were good deals, while other prices were slightly higher than at other retailers. I found some things that I liked, particularly the travel toothbrushes/toothpastes, office supplies, and cat treats.

Produce is almost always actually fresh, but make sure you check, especially things like strawberries. Staff is friendly and will help you look for things and answer questions. The one down side is that sometimes some of the cashiers are chatty which can slow things down. It is great to be personable, but sometimes you want to get through a line quickly because you are on the way to someplace else. The deli has a nice selection of meats and prepared foods (like pasta salad and potato salad) and the staff their is friendly and informative. Overall, the store is clean and overall well maintained. The biggest negative is that you really need to check expiration dates. They often still have stuff on their shelves that has expired.

It is fairly easy to get into and out of (because of traffic lights) and back onto route 30. It is chain store central and can get really busy. There is a Target, Lowe's, Giant Eagle, Texas Roadhouse, Petsmart. I've been to the Target several times (usually for curbside) and have patronized several of the other businesses as well. There is ample parking and the lot seems to be fairly well maintained. The one downside is the through road can be a bit of a hot mess. People speed through from one side to the other, but cars are also trying to either drive over it or turn on to it to exit the businesses. A few more stop signs or additional signage might be helpful.

Plus, the set-up here is not very good; the registers are literally right by the entrance, so if there's a line of people checking out the mere act of getting into the building can be a process. It doesn't help that when you walk in you're often blasted by waves of funky smells - the last time I walked in it flat out smelled like feet. But, this place serves its purpose. There's cheap food to help supplement my larger grocery trips (key word: supplement!); they stock the household items that we all need, making it easy to run out and grab paper towels every time I run out of them; and I even find the occasional cheap gift, depending on what was shipped in. Not much else to say here - there's no need to go out of your way to shop here, but if you're a fellow local there's no harm in stopping in to grab a few essentials. It'll sure beat a trip out to Robinson!
