You will notice how dismissive and quick they need to be. In another office that is open later, an MA untrained gave my child one antibiotic injection. I had to come back and have my child get another dose. This time is was 2 injections. I questioned why it was 2, I was told because they can only put so much of the dose in each thigh that it has to be 2 injections. Oh, and the first one was in the arm. So this MA gave too much in my child's arm, which was suppose to be administered in the thigh. Though, this is what really got me, they wanted an MA to do a urinary cath on my child and she had to stop because she did not know how to do it, and it was not sterile. I come to find out it should be sterile and the MA are not allowed to perform any invasive procedure such as that. I never went back after that and found a great pediatric office with a great happy environment and not at all rushed.
