At first my wife assumed they were done because the typical us rows of buffet tables were not set up. Just a single table with salad. Beef. Chicken. Nushrooms . Potatoes and some mixed vegetables. Everything was fresh and tasty service was great even though we walked in right before close even got some recommendations on the best rides at legoland. Hotel is kind of out of the way but a good find.

The hotel ground is well kept and excellent for a jog or walk in the morning. The view of the lake is tranquil. If you come in the summer, the lake is swimmable but the water is a bit chill. Restaurant serves good food, and the real treat is a sumptuous breakfast. My stay per night was around 1000DKR, includes breakfast - a bargain in Denmark.

The rooms are tastefully decorated (design furniture) and very clean. Nice bath room. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. Downsides : rooms are equipped with centrally controlled ventilation (no airco) so it got way too hot duing the night. Sauna facility did not function during our stay.
