Okay I though I'd help out my girlfriend and write a review of her horrible experience at this spa…read more First this was a birthday gift card that I gave her and she paid extra for a mani&pedi. Now here it goes; she was given a mediocre massage and quasi facial, if you can call rubbing ones face a facial. And they used a prickly utensil to remove blackheads that left tiny scars all over. Then they used a towel to clean her face, not a facial cloth but a big towel. To top it off, they used Balea products from DM for the facial and really cheap nail polish. And they also clipped her nails too low, which caused discomfort! This whole waste of time was not cheap either but the experience and service, indeed was.

The garden is beautiful, but I'm sure it would be prettier in the Spring. There are two dry saunas, a large steam sauna, a plunge pool, two "resting/sleeping" rooms, a tanning bed (solarium), a couple massage rooms, a mini bar that sell alcoholic and non-alcoholic beer and other fruit juices. Most other saunas require a ten euro deposit for the key/chip for the lockers. Here they don't. They are very trusting and they seem to work on the honesty system. The entrance is relatively open and you have to pay at the bar. It's a little bit of a maze when you first arrive, but once you are familiar with the layout it's very manageable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Yes it's a mixed sauna for men and women... and you gotta go in Berlin style... no bathing suits. Loved it... except like I mentioned, it was too crowded.

The quiet room was a bit smelly and didn't feel so relaxing. The beer selection at the bar was good. They offer affordable, good quality massages, I got one and it was very relaxing! The little garden outside is nice. I am not sure if I would go back because of how crowded it was last time, but it would be worth checking out during a non-peak time.
