Customer service was good, restaurant was cozy, and food was out of this world. I came today and saw they were in a new location. Initially felt "cool" but immediately was greeted with a cold demeanor. Half of our table are Filipino born and raised, while my sister and I are born in the US. I asked for bottled water and they had one bottle left. My dad (born in the Philippines), watched the lady who initially sat us down who mocked me for asking for bottled water. I had my back to the restaurant the entire time, so I didn't see a lot of the interaction, but my dad saw and understood it all. We ordered the sisig - undercooked. The pancit hab hab - underwhelming. They had no soda, and we all (9) had to share 1 big bottle of water. Ok, fine, no troubles. Then, they ran out of plenty of entrees, so we were limited on what to order. My sister watched the staff spray the table while there were still items on it, while my dad watched and listened as the staff were gossiping about all the patrons (including us) in the restaurant. It was quite uncomfortable. Sorry not sorry, but this place is no longer it and the entire staff needs an entire overhaul of retraining if you want to salvage this place.

Sure it's all veg -- but the way they put everything together is wonderful. If you want to ease into it, try their Olives & Capers pasta. It got the balance between salty and sweet just right (and this for me is no mean feat). Be a little more adventurous and order the mushroom quinoa, or the suuuuper sarap Baked Stuffed Tomato, two big garden tomatoes stuffed with veggies and topped with cheese. They use cheese from nuts so if you're hardcore vegetarian-vegan, no worries there. They serve it with brown AND red rice! Yay for me!!! know, I know. I'm raving about a vegetarian place which is quite unlike me. But it's really that good, and the prices aren't so bad either. Order the Tamarind juice, too -- it's incredible refreshing.

The vibe is brighter, more modern, with an open bar and a lively energy that works perfectly for a Friday night. Service was excellent. Gab, the head waiter/manager, was outstanding, attentive, engaging, and genuinely warm. He checked in often without being intrusive, and the rest of the team matched his level of service. Food was just as impressive. We started with the Bourke Salad, fresh, crisp, and flavorful plus foie gras served with caramelized onions and pickles. The combination was rich, balanced, and absolutely delicious. The Creekside Steak was the star, perfectly cooked to medium, served in a cast-iron skillet with gravy, lettuce, a potato, and a side of mustard that gave the steak a perfect punch. It's a bit pricey at around 900 but it can fill up at least 3 people. Another one on the menu, though I don't think this is available anymore is their sausage penne. I think it was removed but we requested for it to be made and the chef obliged and i think that's nice. Great aesthetics. Minimalist design. Has both indoor and outdoor seating. In my experience, I've learned that "delicious" and "healthy" don't always go hand in hand. Thankfully, Juju Eats is here to prove that sometimes, it does. The whole vibe of Juju Eats is sort of like a giant salad bar. The food comes in stainless steel bowls, and you can choose whether you want your salad as a half order or a full order. If you're like me and can't get enough of all the veggies, I'd say definitely go for the full order (even if it's a little pricey, in my opinion) but the half-order is pretty filling too. The salads are definitely not of the "tasteless green stuff" variety, and you can choose from a menu or make a salad up yourself. They have everything from nacho salads to pasta salads to some special ones like the Roast Pumpkin which has bits of fruit and nut in them. You can even choose to have your salad wrapped in pita, if you want to eat your salad on-the-go. They also have a bunch of specially-made juices, if you wanna up the "healthy food" factor with a delicious fruity drink. Or if you're feeling a bit more adventurous, you can practically make your own salad from among their MANY fresh ingredients you'll see at the counter. Since it's my first time, I went with my friend's recommendation, the Big Boy Wrap--romaine, grilled chicken, bacon, hard boiled egg, sun dried tomato, grated cheddar, red kidney beans, and french dressing in a wrap of regular dough (the alternative option is whole wheat dough). It was one of the more appealing choices for me because there was meat in it, unlike the other choices that contained mostly veggies, fruit, or cheese. And the flavor didn't disappoint at all. The ingredients were obviously fresh and went well together in one bite, just like a good, hearty salad, minus the overpowering dressing. They put their EVOO and vinaigrette as free-flowing condiments you can have on the side, so I tried them and they made each bite even better. My friend even put sriracha on his salad pasta. If there's anything I'm not jumping up and down about Juju Eats is the price. But then again, it's hard to find restaurants with really affordable guiltless offerings these days, especially in the Philippines. Also, don't expect to be filled especially if you have a usually big appetite (As a result, we walked to the nearby Jamba Juice stall at Eco Plaza, LOL.) Overall, I was happy with my first Juju Eats experience. In fact, I cannot wait to try every other thing in their menu, especially their salad pastas. Their food tastes so good, you can't even tell that everything is made out of tofu. It's way healthier and cheaper. I usually have issues concerning my weight. I just can't imagine myself looking fat. Whenever I feel like I am gaining a few pounds, I just stop eating at fast food restaurants and I go to healthier options like Bodhi. They have a wide selection of meals to choose from and all of their dishes are sold at a very fair price.
