I went to this "establishment" last summer and THEY STOLE $3,570.01 from me. For the 2 drinks my friend and I ordered, they RAN MY CARD 5 SEPARATE TIMES charging 5 different amounts, but only gave me a $25 credit card receipt to sign. They were able to do this without alerting my [obviously inept financial institution] by charging different, uneven amounts. These were charged by "689 Eatery Corp). DO NOT GO TO THIS TERRIBLE BAR WITH CRIMINALS WORKING THERE. read more

Rip off. $20 cover for a VIP room experience. $35 for a beer and vodka-soda. Bring all your $100s because that's what you'll need to survive this joint. read more

I've been to better strip clubs in east bumble in the middle of no where. The layout is horrible. They basically charge you to come in the door and you are brought into a room with just a bar, you are told that you must buy 2 drinks. Each drink is somewhere from $15 to $20. Once you have your drinks from the bar room you can walk into the stage room. The stage is rectangular and runs the length of the room. There is about 5 feet on all sides around the stage to sit and THAT'S IT. The room is tiny. Private dances are given out in the open. For a Friday night ..I was expecting some entertainment and excitement and I definitely did not get that. This is not a club it is a single room. Tiny shoe box strip club, strong armed staff, just awkward all around read more

All I can say is the girls here especially the waitresses are so rude. We paid $30 for "free" admission with two drinks. Was told to sit anywhere and a waitress would come take our order. While waiting, let me just say I noticed the set up is horrible. The seating around the pool table looking stage was uncomfortable. We decided to sit on the cushion seats on the wall. Waitress finally came over and took our orders. While waiting for our drinks this not so attractive dancer came over to me. I told her although I'm there I have no interest in women. She proceeded to tell me to stop being scared and relax. I didn't have it in me to tell her she was nasty looking. We flagged down the waitress for our second drink. The minute I was finished with my drink the waitress said "you need to order another drink or you have to leave" Mind you there was hardly anyone in there. So we say we're leaving. As we're putting on our sweaters to go the security guard comes over and says we have to leave. What the hell dude we were getting our stuff. So rude sl unprofessional and most of the girl in there were lazy. No thanks. There are much better places around. Dont waste your time read more

Door man told us we cannot enter without a male. Me and my sister came with 3k to spend on any two dancers we found attractive and hard working we arrived at the door and asked the cover charge and he told us $20 then said we cannot enter without male acquaintance very sexiest girls Inside must be insecure read more

It was cool when I went no problems. Hot girls, low key environment, a little small, the bar is separate. Not bad guards out front and the lady who does coat check is nice. Bartender was cute and friendly. I'd recommend it. I'd go again. read more

My first strip club experience was here on Christmas Eve going into Christmas. Walking in, the bouncer threatened that we better be over 21, half annoying and half funny because everyone always thinks I'm 16 and it gets a little tiring. I think it was $20 cover with $5 coat check and we had to pay in cash, if I remember correctly. The vibe was this: TINY club, TINY stage (not really a stage), sucky music, and most ladies didn't have that much of a personality. The girls also didn't know how to dance at all (except for like, one). So I felt kind of awkward. The drinks were expensive and whatever, as expected. For noobs like me, I didn't know the whole situation. There was a lady going around offering massages that were $20 (obviously no one says the pricing but again, I was new to this). The dancers ENCOURAGED you to get a lap dance, but I didn't feel that anyone was pushy at all. My boyfriend got one and didn't realise you pay $20 a song and stopped after the 4th song (he "didn't know" ;) sure). She was nice and let him pay less and even let him touch her (??). The one who gave me a lap dance was friendly and flirty and I loved it. I assume I could get a much better experience elsewhere, but it was fun. Just very awkward atmosphere. read more

my friends and I were given a free entrance ticket outside the club. When we came in, we were told that with the ticket, it's 25 per person, and mandatory to check your coat for 3 dollars. The 25 charge included 2 drinks, but there's a 4 dollar upcharge for any top shelf liquor. When we sat down, we were immediately approached by girls who were quite beautiful and very friendly. There was one hispanic girl who was very aggressive. She was the largest of the bunch, and she jumped on me and performed a lap dance. To be honest, I didn't ask for it, and she wouldn't take no for an answer. When she was finished, she said, "that'll be 20 bucks." I explained to her that I didn't want a lap dance from her and her response was "this is New York, baby. Cough it up." My suggestion to anyone new to this club would be to adamantly refuse all lap dances until you've scoped out all of the girls and made your selection. Don't settle for the aggressive, husky hispanic with no manners. After I received my second drink, the waitress asked if I wanted to tip out for the table, so I did; however, I didn't realize that she also asked my friend the same thing, and he already tipped out on behalf of our table. I would have liked to see more pole dancing, but it was a fun time. It just sucks to feel taken advantage of. read more

I would give zero stars but Yelp would not allow. If you're not a girl u will not get in if u do not have a guy with u. If u have a man, $20 cover each push drink each ($12 Stella) No full nudity and definitely no acrobatics. In Miami there are chick who do full acrobat routines that are amazing!! ATM issue $20 short and no compensation - u would think more money more lap dances. But no. Management did not rectify the problem told to contact ATM company. As a consumer, this does not solve anything. Left a bad taste in my mouth. I would not recommend this place at all. Over priced and girls are not worth it . Buyers beware!! read more

Half the girls are really annoying. They had 2 fat girls there. One sat on my lap and wouldnt leave me alone. They beg too much. There were two girls I really liked there. The one that gave me a lap dance was professional and very friendly. Stay away from the loud British girl, She has black short hair, scammed my friend pretty much. What really made the night was the one girl who gave me a lapdance, she was perfect. Lots of fun. This is my first time to a strip club though. It was a small area room place. If you have money to blow, just go somewhere else. This isnt worth it. The one girl I was with was 1 of the 2 pretty girls. The rest are like the girls on jersey shore, annoying, just annoying. read more

The girls were fine, but prices sucks since it's really small "club"! Also the "free" admission that we got from the flyer we had to pay $33 and we get "free" drink L O L. But overall the experience was fine. $20 dance and cheap drinks compared to other clubs. read more

BEWARE! STAY AWAY! DO NOT. Absolutely, DO NOT go to this club. I went here last night, friday night. This establishment engages its customers in a shakedown scam. My experience at Satin Dolls was one of the scariest experiences of my life. Satin Dolls is a criminal enterprise and its quite shocking that the New York Police Department as well as the prosectors office permits such a criminal operation. Truly, it is bewildering that the one of the many city's regulation agencies has not shut down this criminal organization. I was given a bill and told to pay it. When I questioned the bill I received and told the waitress who provided me with that bill that it was not mine and furthermore it was not possible to have placed so many orders within the short time frame I was at the club I was met with threats and told I may not leave. I told the waitress several times that I wished to leave as she was blocking me from moving, to which she responded I may not until I paid the bill which was not mine. I asked her if I was being detained. The waitress responded that I was. I told the waitress that I was going to call the police. The waitress then threatened me that if I called the police she was going to tell them that I had assaulted her. I told the waitress that since she was detaining me, I had no other choice but to call the police and I began speaking with the emergency operator. After this the waitress had several of the bouncers come over, slam me against the wall and grab me and throw me out of the club, to the protests of fellow patrons not to hurt me. I was grateful to be out of the club. Immediately I went to the police working the beat outside the club. I spoke to them regarding this situation and they informed me that this is a popular shakedown scam that they run at this joint, targeting individuals who appear to be alone. They said that they would arrest the waitress and the two bouncers who became violent with me but that waitress will claim that I assaulted her so that I would have to be arrested too before it can be sorted out in court. DO NOT go to Satin Dolls. read more

Ok location. I really didnt like the layout as much as flashdancers. But I will say, I had the best private dance ever. I feel bad because I dont remember her name. But she made me late for dinner with my family and I had to stop by staples to get handi wipes so I could hide the smell of her. I did have one girl yell at me for wasting her time ... but I didnt ask her to sit next to me. She came and sat by me twice. Your fault not mine.... $8 cover, $11 for bottle beer. $200/10 min + tip for private read more

Here I am, out with the guys, and we're hanging out in Times Square, so we all decide to get a beer. As we contemplated on getting a beer, we see Lace, so we go in. I didn't see no Asian girls while I was there, personally, hated it, but I will say they had some good looking girls up in there, and the drinks was good. Great looking place, nice chairs, good music, and tight security. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5qm8PH4xAss read more

i went with a friend tonight and it was great. The girls are beautiful, especially the latina. my only complaint is they only use cash for transactions under $200. Since me and my friend are under 21, it was $40 to get in plus the normal charges for lap dances. The bouncers were actually friendly and we were allowed to touch the girls as well. Just be nice with the dancers and they will treat you the same. My tip is to specify what you want and pay attention to the song and time before having your dance read more

Been to Lace on 8th and Lace on Times Square. The one on 8th is very small, poles so close to the wall girls can't really do tricks. But girls themselves pretty hot and all nice. Times square location slightly larger space overall and for pole work, but no real stage for really sexy stuff. Girls all pretty good looking and most were nice n thin the way HB and I like 'em. Talked to the hostess about what you get for private rooms, def. not worth it. Of course drinks are pricey, dances are pricey, and ability to touch is basically zero, HELLO, its a strip club in Manhattan... so for the price sensitive stay out of NYC. We still had a great time. By the way for those that want more contact and are local, try Stamford CT Beamers. read more

I've been to my fair share of Gentlemen's Clubs. One of my Canadian friends, female, wanted to go to one. So we wound up here. She paid for both our covers and drinks. Went to Lace with two of my buddies as we were in the city for the day. The man who met us at the door was very polite and nice, and explained where the coat check and rest rooms were. Went into the actual club area and was greeted by a friendly drink server who got me an overpriced beer for $10. That was about the end of any positives. My buds and I were totally ignored by the girls there, and weren't approached at all in the entire hour we spent there. Every other club I have ever been to, at least the women approach you and are friendly. These women seemed to want to just sit together drinking with each other and didn't seem too serious about wanting a tip, unless you were dressed in a business suit. Maybe, they figure that men in business suits will tip more than a man in shirt and jeans, but that's not very good thinking. The dancers on the stage were putting us to sleep with their slow and rather uninteresting way of dancing. In any event, all three of us agreed, that Lace didn't really do anything for us, so we just split after spending our $10. That wasn't even worth the value. Would never go there again or recommend anyone else to. read more

This is the worst strip club I have ever been to. The girls wear no makeup and look like they have never been on a treadmill EVER. It's so small and dirty is an understatement. It's the Walmart of strip clubs. Don't waste time or money.... So many better ones in NyC read more

I give this club 1 star. Believe me it's not even worth that. Visiting from Europe. On a military break, told to pay $20 to get in plus got a horrible look when I only gave a 5 tip. Had to pay another $15 plus 5 tip for 2 drinks. This was even before being allowed in the club properly. Sat down. Within 3 minutes was flashed, had the not very pleasant strippers poke me, sat on my lap, almost in a head lock. Even had my privates grabbed plus told... No wait.... Ordered to move so this big horrible garlic smelling sumo wrestler of a stripper could give a guy a dance. In which she knocked my drink over without replacing it. 3 minutes... Not a good start. Had more strippers come over all to see what they could get out of you, but believe me, these girls are not worthy of being called strippers, some obviously have drug issues, some probably don't condone hygiene. After about 15 minutes the word had gone out so I was ignored for the most part for the next 20 minutes. The thing that made me exit, and quickly. There was a guy in the corner who had his wallet stolen by one of the girls after a dance. She finished the dance and disappeared into a room. When the guy was yelling about his wallet the bouncer distracted him, the stripper came back and literally threw the now empty wallet under the table. Obviously the guy didn't see this. The bouncer had his body blocking the veiw. End result the guy was not so discreetly thrown out. Avoid this club at all costs. It's small, the strippers should at least make an effort to be attractive, the bouncers have attitude problems, I have nothing good to say about this club. read more

Nice girls, however most of them are there since few months only, which indicates high fluctuation, means they get certainly ripped off (too). Drinks are costly (For a vodka tonic I had to pay 30$ plus tip), which is half way o.k. given the continuous presence of the girls. Lap dance 20$, which is certainly o.k. Other prices according to the manager: 'Semi private' room 490$ for 30 minutes plus an expected tip 200$ or more, for which they charge an administrative fee of 20% when paid by credit card. 'Full private' is a lot more more than 1000$ for 60 minutes. A free drink would be included except for a tip. That is all outrageously overpriced. All they are after is that your money changes ownership at the highest possible rate. Which means that most people might go there once and never again. Here is what you can do alternatively: Consider to take a two week vacation (e.g. Dominican Republic) at a similar price level including flight and hotel. There you go to a bar and meet nice people for free and see what happens. read more
