The food was great and the kitchen worked with our dietary needs which was a huge plus. We also had a last-minute change to our rehearsal dinner plans, and the venue was able to accommodate us without too much issue. Unfortunately, our experience with the venue coordinator was much more frustrating. Communication often felt disorganized, with the same questions being asked multiple times and messages coming through at all hours--including twice when we received messages around 3:30 a.m. At times, our requests also seemed to be treated somewhat flippantly rather than with the level of attention and professionalism we expected for our wedding. There were also comments and behaviors that felt particularly unprofessional. During our initial meeting, the coordinator told us that he would do his best to help us save money along the way, but also shared that he tends to hold grudges if couples are rude or difficult. At the time, we didn't think much of the comment. However, as the planning process progressed, we found ourselves becoming increasingly hesitant to voice concerns or push back on things because we were genuinely worried that doing so could negatively impact our experience. No couple should feel like they need to carefully choose their words or avoid raising legitimate concerns out of fear of retaliation from their coordinator. A major concern was how many details seemed to come together at the very last minute. From altered table layout in the reception room to not getting straight answers on things like cocktail pricing, there were more last-minute headaches than I would've expected. Ultimately, it felt like there were overpromises and underdeliveries throughout the planning process. The venue itself and many of the staff were wonderful, but the coordination made the experience significantly more stressful than it needed to be. There were far too many instances where things felt rushed, unclear, or left until the very last second, leaving us feeling like our wedding wasn't a priority until the day was essentially upon us. I would absolutely recommend the venue based on its beauty and the experience we had with much of the staff, but I would strongly encourage future couples to get everything in writing, confirm pricing well in advance, clearly document the final room setup, and stay on top of the details themselves. The venue has a lot going for it, but the coordination experience unfortunately took away from what should have been a much more seamless and enjoyable planning process. We were promised a "dedicated wedding coordinator" and were disappointed.

i Went to the Winter Dance Party on Sat. Jan 24, 2026 and I want to say it was ten times better…read morethan two y ears ago . The new owners gave those of us who go there to dance and mingle a bigger dance floor. Two years ago it was mostly all tables of people sitting all night and those that want to dance had no room To move We were in a sardine can . Now ,last night we all had room and it was stress free , fun and a great event. I went even though it was freezing out because that event is a guaranteed good happy time . the people are so nice. the new owners are very polite and nice . More and more young people are showing up dressed in 50s style even little kids. the most memorable thing i saw was a dad up front dancing wit h his lil daughter teaching her the steps. And they were both dressed 50s style. Richie Valens has energy to burn and The Big Boppper is such a unique fun person and he had zebra shoes to match his zebra coat jacket. and of course Buddy Holly looked and sang so real I though the was the real deal . It took me back in time and I loved it. Also the other band members really gave it th eir all and non stop playing music,

From the parking lot, there was a memorial to Buddy, The Big Bopper, and Richie. We tried to get in but the doors were locked. We were so disappointed until the employees saw us and let us in. That's where the magic happened! There were memorabilia and the owner gave us a private tour. He was so kind to let us go backstage and stand where Buddy performed. It was more than we expected and it made a life long dream come true to get a close up look and hear the history. They are genuinely such nice people and the ballroom is very cool and stays true to its originality. Thank you so much! Definitely check it out.

I happened to come across the dress on the Roxanne's Runway website, so I called in about it. The owner picked up wight away and she answered all of my questions. I was purchasing this dress for the surprise wedding that we had for our parents in December 2016. I had a ton of questions because I was not able to try the dress on, and the owner was great with telling me how to take my measurements to be sure that I was getting the correct size for alterations, etc. This was all over the phone, so I was grateful she took the time! I ordered the dress and it was in my hands 4 days later. It was beautifully wrapped and flawless. The dress itself needed a lot of extra work to fit me, but that was all up to the seamstress here in California :) Huge thank you the Roxanne's Runway for getting me this beautiful dress for our wedding day!
