Amazing Staff-Great Programs-Very Well Prepared Preschool…read more Our son just started Kindergarten and had been at Kiddie Kove since the age of 3. Although there were a few teachers that left during that time, the turn over was very low compared to other centers. They hire part time students that have focus on early childhood development and lots of experience with different age children. The food choices have helped our son try new things and actually eat certain casseroles that we didn't realize he would eat. A few field trips are done per year and they are highly chaperoned and well planned. They do not do background checks on parents for those field trips so that would be something they could improve on, however there is plenty of Staff on hand at all times. Our son learned many sign language skills, many Spanish words/number/phrases, and greatly improved his self-help skills such as zippers, doing buttons, washing hands. In my opinion their Parent Aware rating is lower due to just being graded for the first time. I have seen them keep up to date on safety standards, cleanliness, curriculum, nutrition and arts. I would highly recommend Kiddie Kove. They are family owned, very caring, and they do a wonderful job loving and teaching children. Our Kindergartener is well adjusted, happy, smart and pretty outgoing thanks to being well prepared from Kiddie Kove..

Very disorganized, in some of the programs, students only find out about their schedule just days before they are supposed to start and when it comes to clinical, that's even worse. For the price tag of this school, one would expect professionalism and a more organized environment which is pretty much missing. Better off going to the UoM which would cost roughly the same.

This daycare is an absolute disaster from the top down. The director, Andrea, is openly rude,…read moredismissive, and talks to parents like they're stupid. They don't follow their own policies, don't complete required incident reports, and their "Honeycomb" system they brag about is basically useless since it isn't even utilized over half the day. They are severely short-staffed and it shows - constant chaos, kids hitting other kids with zero staff intervention and no sense of safety or structure. During enrollment, the staff member handling my intake told me to leave the weekly rate blank because they "needed county verification" before giving me any numbers. I signed the authorization assuming, logically, that they wouldn't charge anything until they knew what CCAP covered. Instead, they withdrew nearly $600 from my bank account without any notice, invoice, or explanation. No one had ever told me the rates, what I'd owe, or that they would charge me before receiving county information. Every interaction with Andrea after that was condescending and hostile. She talked over me repeatedly, refused to answer basic questions, and gave me the run-around for over two weeks. She even lied about not having my county paperwork... because I saw it sitting out in the open on the front desk, containing private information. I am in the Safe at Home program. That alone is unacceptable. When my son finally started, things got worse. He was inconsolable at drop-off and pickup, the classrooms were understaffed and chaotic, and kids were being hit with zero intervention. A staff member casually told me my son had been hit and dragged by his shirt, yet no incident report was ever completed. When I asked about it, Andrea gave me more attitude and zero answers. After repeated calls and no follow-up, I withdrew him. The ONLY competent person in this entire company was Emily at corporate, who fixed what the center repeatedly messed up. Do not trust this location with your child. The disorganization, lack of safety, unprofessional behavior and blatant mishandling of money & personal information are beyond unacceptable. This place is a liability. Run the other way.

There's plenty to enjoy about St. John's, but also a few things to be cognizant of…read more St. John's University is a major player in the liturgical, spiritual, and community life of Central Minnesota through the Benedictine Abbey/Monastery, the university and theological school, the prep school, Liturgical Press, the Abbey Church, liturgical reform, the Monastic Library, sports teams, St. John's Bible, and more. Johnnies, which its graduates are fond of calling themselves, are filled with pride for their school. I do not know of another campus that has quite the setting that St. John's has, with so many beautiful wooded acres, lakes, walking trails, an arboretum, and more. The football field has to be one of the most pleasant, situated as it is, in a valley surrounded by trees. It's truly a stunning place physically. The old architecture (red brick, historical buildings, The Great Hall) is pleasing to the eye; the new architecture (concrete) less so. There's much to attract students, visitors, and others to this place. Of course, nothing is as pristine as it seems. Unfortunately, the monastery has been marred by the large number of monks/priests who have sexually abused children. They continue to live and work on campus. The university says that they are under a kind of "house arrest" and that their activities are monitored, but I have seen accused monks/priests in St. Cloud shopping with young adult men. It continues to be a concern of many in the area.

The class was well organized and presented, satisfying all of my expectations. A great presentation is one where I don't have to ask any questions, and I asked none. Their professionalizm extended to checking and cross-checking each weapon prior to a demonstration to ensure the weapon was safe to handle. This was evident in both the classroom and on the firing range and set an appropriate example for the class. At the end of the day I felt prepared to carry and I am looking forward to continuing my weapon training with Invictus Defense.
