It is primarily a seafood restaurant but he does have great options for people that prefer something else. The food is served family style and you don't need to worry about going hungry. (Spectacular raw shrimp dish. I've never had shrimp like that and it was amazing!) The chef is very personable and has a great presence at the table as he goes over your options for the evening and goes out of his way to make everyone feel comfortable and welcome. Besides Italian, he speaks fluent English and I heard him speaking French with another table. The rest of the staff were all very friendly and efficient. Overall I was thrilled with my experience here! I highly recommend it if you are in Imperia and I will definitely go back!

It is a traditional Ligurian prix fixe multi course Italian meal - Antipasti, Primi, Secondi, dessert, espresso, wine - and the menu changes periodically. We have had multiple different pastas (including pesto, of course), vitello tonato, a beef dish, chicken - all excellent.
