Maybe it was because we were starved for vegan food, maybe we were tired of pinxtos during our 3…read moremonth trip but this was one of the best vegan tacos I've had. Each ingredient in the taco had a nice flavor profile to it making it an explosion of flavors. Very often the ingredients are just cooked and put together without much thought. It also came with a side of salsa and guacamole. We also got a broccoli croquet and a samosa and while they were tasty, it was not comparable to the tacos. We also tried a vegan cheesecake. It came in a jar and was yummy but I would call it what it is...cheesecake parfait. El Curry Verde might be the only vegan vegetarian restaurant in the area. The location was a bit of a walk from the center of town. It sits on the lower level of the shopping area in front of the water. You can see France across the way. We walked here in the pouring rain and would do it again for some delicious food!

We managed to order the food, asparagus, crème brûlée, and a bottle of wine to share. It was perfect for two people. The food was fantastic. If you're set on ordering a super authentic Spanish meal, this would not be the place for you. With that being said, we thought the food was fantastic--I highly suggest the chicken curry and bacon burger--and the atmosphere was one of our favorites of our time in Spain. Kind of a farm chic feel (if that's even a thing). Great, cheap red wine and their desserts were to DIE for. I'm not even a dessert person, but order the dulce de leche crepe if you want your life forever changed. Also, I don't like cheesecake, but the Oreo cheesecake was a huge favorite among my family. They said it was their favorite cheesecake they've had in Spain and they've had several. For the most part, the servers spoke English and also had an English menu available, which were great bonuses for my family who doesn't speak much Spanish. The staff were not overly friendly, but they weren't difficult either. The bathrooms were super clean and functional. We loved our experience here and look forward to coming back!

I guess we we're super lucky and got sat next to the window. I highly suggest that. You get to see the big wave while drinking and eating. Food is normal healthy here but the crossiant is something to die for. And they come in like five flavors. This is a chocolate heaven. On your way out, you can get some to go.
