You will be greeted with a big hello and smile from the owner Gail and her staff which was a young man. Gail has her Café in a building with Roman ruins from the 1st Century as part of her seating area. It's simply amazing!! Downstairs has a quiet area with tables and the lovely scent of fresh lavender to remind you that this was once a Roman bath! The other wonderful thing is Gail offers many vegan and vegetarian options. We were able to get our latte and chai made with oat milk. Everything is top notch! I may just keep walking the Camino Frances over and over and over again (this is our second already!) so I can pass through Pamplona to see Gail and have her incredible service and COFFEE (and Chai tea and food!).

Next was the lamb which was really tender and flavorful. The couscous was ok nothing special and not much seasoning to it. Then the beef cheek and mashed potatoes came out which was the star of the pintxos that we had. It was also very tender and the mash was also cooked perfectly. All of this was shared between the two of us and was very filling. The waiter let us know that some of the pinxtos could also be ordered in a full size if we wanted. We enjoyed sampling the pinxtos and would definitely recommend coming here to get a taste of local cuisine.
