€3 for a freshly made crepe. Take my money! This place is a fine Spanish delicatessen. The staff speak a bit of English and we spoke a little Spanish so we were able to cobble up a conversation.
The wife and I both ordered a sobrassada and cheese crepe. We were going to go with ham and cheese but once we found out that sobrassada is a raw, cured sausage we knew we had to try it out. It tasted a little like salami only softer. Very enjoyable.
The crepe is cooked right in front of you with all the ingredients coming from in store. It sure was the perfect afternoon treat we needed. It was a bit heavier than a snack but lighter than a meal. Let's go with "sn-eal"?
I wish we'd had a proper look around the store. It had all the hallmarks of an old school family owned delicatessen. A great place to grab a bite for cheap. No seating, so you'll be standing on the street wolfing down the best €3 crepe you've ever eaten. read more
