Superb, simple, modest prices, Sardinian based cuisine. A bit of a walk off the main passeggiata…read morepiazza, but worth it. Excellent seafood, had the fresh alici with marinated melanzane and the home made tagliatelle allo scoglio. The pasta was perfectly al dente, the seafood just barely cooked and tender, and the sauce was one of the best mantecare's of the pan juices, olive oil, and pasta water that I've had in Italy. Simply and gorgeously presented, intensely flavored. For the price of 2 glasses of wine, they gave us a whole bottle of Vermentino. Dessert was a fantastic semi freddo...lemon, hand carved/cut, and topped with a wonderful light caramel sauce. We enjoyed the Mirto digestivi....and the price for two was half of what we've been paying elsewhere. Only Italians eating here, no cruise ship passengers. We will be returning before we leave town!
